The Art of Goal Setting.

Today, and many other days, I set six goals to be completed by the time I go to sleep. The interesting side-effect of setting really simple goals, is I get a lot more done and am inspired to move around.

My first goal of the day was to clean, anything, just clean. So I did and now my house has clean floors and bottoms of walls. Tomorrow I might inspire myself to clean the tops of the walls.

My business goal, for today, was to complete some entries into the book-keeping program my husband and I use in our business, Caerwen Books. Neither of us love the entering of data regarding incoming and outgoing flow but it must be done. That goal is completed as well.

Dancing around the room was easy to complete but it had to happen naturally. Inspired by a lesson from Twenty Twenty of Freeneville.com, I suddenly found myself happily shimmying around the kitchen. The other goals don't matter, they are simply goals I will complete today.

Setting goals means I complete tasks in a joyful and inspired way. This frees up a lot of time for me to invest in writing, inspiring and creating the life I want to live.
