Climbing up and over a mountain

Holidays are meant to be relaxing, uplifting, fun and peaceful. Well, most of that happened for me on my holiday in Tasmania. Except for relaxing...walking up a mountain to see Wineglass Bay was far from relaxing. It involved a half hour of hiking up one side to get to the lookout (view from said lookout in the cover pic) then another forty five minutes down to the beach via 1000 steps then back up again via those same 1000 steps and then another half an hour to get back down to the car park, toilets etc!!!! Our legs really felt it for five days afterwards. But we did it! We made it and we were incredibly exhilarated to have done so.
Now to climb ever higher here :)

Great post. You've learned a valuable lesson with your journey up and down the mountain. You've conquered that, so you can apply those same principles to WA. Now it's time to be successful.

Well done and kudos for making it up that far. I hope to climb our Fiordlands one day, never climbed or trekked before, but just to say that I did it. That's what I am doing here, just want to complete everything so that I can say, that I did it. Thanks for sharing :)

Climbing up mountains is something I intend to do very rarely! But I am doing the same as you, getting there so I can say I did :)
