My Bounce Rate Is Too High

Hello, people!
Maja here, again.

The issue I wanted to express today is that my bounce rate is too high (more than 80%, which is not good).
So I wanted to ask you if you have any tips you could give me in order to make people stay more time on my page, a part from making the blog easy to access, easy to read, nice to look at, and creating a call to action. Did you have any issue of this kind and how did you solve it?

Besides, here on WA we exchange comments to each other which is great. The best way to give and receive. But I was also wondering how many of you stay on someone else's page (here on WA) more than few seconds. I mean, if you just click on it, give a quick look to read the title and look at the images, and close it after 10 seconds just to write a nice comment to earn credits. Mind you, I am not accusing anyone, I was just wondering and trying to get some feedback.
Even though it takes time, when I have to give a feedback I read the article, focus on the paragraphs I consider important for myself, and keep the article open for a few minutes at least.

Do you think that a hight bounce right could harm my blog on Google or something?

Feel free to share, of course.

Dale has provided a great link for bounce reduction. Bounce rates will always be more than the people sticking around through multiple pages of the site. Bigger tells of success are in your average pages per visit and your average time on site as to how well your content is speaking to the audience.

Still, a proper first paragraph that acts as a summary of what you will discuss and a catchy headline will get people fired up to read. Beyond that, it's ending paragraphs in a question, or a positive note that makes people want to finish the post. They need to be suspenseful or excited about what comes next so be sure to play with emotions some.

Also that is true. Thanks for the input.

Hey
This could help

I'll watch it asap. Thank you!

A high bounce rate isn't necessarily bad. For example, on a product review page, a 100% bounce rate could mean that everybody is leaving via your affiliate link, so it would mean that you've created a high-converting piece of content.

But anyway, here's some bounce rate tips:

Right! Didn't think about this one. Could be... thanks.
