Bootcamp vs Get Started Training
Hello All! I have writtten about this before but I am writing again. I am confused where to focus sometimes. I am only in the second course for Bootcamp and started Mama Makes Money .com . I have found it difficult to do reviews and post every day. Mostly because I find doing reviews so difficult. However then I started thinking I needed to go a different route. I want to do a VLOG with music videos. Of course I would have a YouTube channel but figure I could integrate it into blog posts. I have my site brianajuly.com and hope to do a fashion blog and vlog my music. Though then I though this may not be good to do together. Not sure. I am wondering what you all think who are having success. I know you have to have focus so I am just trying to figure out if it would be better for me to make two different sites for fashion and one for music. I am most likely going to be starting my own boutique and my idea is to model my own clothes for my own fashion blog which will make it easy to be posting and have content and things to write about. At least that is how I feel. At the same time, even though I've been feeling shy of my money making site, I am realizing I could write reviews on some of the fashion businesses I've been looking into on my money making site. So... THEN I feel maybe I should work on ALL of it! I don't know the best way to organize it and don't want to have too much on my plate and not see success. I may just be talking to myself here but if any of this makes sense to you and you have some advise or 'two cents" to throw my way I would be grateful. After all, we are here to support each other and that is one reason why I love and chose Wealthy Affiliate to pursue blogging.
Does anybody think I should focus on one training vs the other given what I'm saying here? Also I feel like I am so far from making any money on these sites given I can't seem to make it though training. I'm dying to make it a working business even if it's just a little money I'm generating. Would love any and all comments! Thank you for reading!

Hi Briana -
I would definitely follow your interests first. That is the path I am currently taking.
Work through the Online Entrepreneur Certification training - it will walk you through a lot of the steps required to making a successful online business (don't forget Jay's video training webinars too, those have been super informative for me).
Once you have become a veteran with creating an income generating website, then you can go through the Affiliate Bootcamp and learn how to promote WA.
I believe you will be much more prepared to help others trying to pursue the same thing, once you have gone through it yourself. Your words will have a lot more authority and you will sound like a pro - which will help others to trust you.
So, in short...learn the process, become a veteran at the process, then help others to learn the process.
At least that is my plan, I hope it helps you in your decision as well.
Just remember, no matter what you decide, to take it one step at a time. It won't happen overnight, but stay the course and you will see results!

Hey Briana, the first thing I would suggest you do is look at your options.
If you are having a hard time writing reviews and you're not into your bootcamp site, I would suggest just holding off on it.
I would suggest building your site on something you love and enjoy.
You can always blog inside WA about anything you feel passionate about in building a business or stuff you accomplished. You can use this platform as a way to get referrals.
Another point I want to add is putting too much on your plate, your first step is to decide on what you want to do.
