Website Built at last! Next steps?
Hello,
This is a sort of follow-up post on my recent post called "Disillusionment", where I spoke about losing motivation and coming across too many difficulties. However, I am very very happy as I have resolved all of my old issues and got a new theme which I love! I've wrote a few posts but nothing major yet. What do you all think of the look of my website? I'd really appreciate any feedback. It is byxselina.com
In addition, would my next steps be signing up to some affiliate marketing companies and placing ads on my website?

Hi Selina, Your site looks great! I love the layout and color scheme. Next up it seems it to add content and start building traffic. You can join some affiliate networks, but having links in content that nobody sees does you no good. Do your keyword research, build your content around that, build traffic would be the first steps I would suggest. I have only been a member here about a month but I know free traffic is built around keywords... so that's a good place to build from. Much success.....
Thank you so much!! I am so glad, it's always so reassuring getting another person's opinion. Okay, so generate traffic, that's what I'll work on from now onwards. Is there a way of knowing how much views or traffic your site is getting? Because I want to know but have no idea how! Thank you.
Yes, there is a pretty easy way to monitor your amount of traffic and the sources of your traffic. You should set up a Google analytics account (it's free) and then install the Google analytics plug in on your site. If you want a step by step guide there is some great training here. Just type Google analytics into the search box at the top of the WA site and it will list the different traing modules that are here. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. I'm not a pro but I have learned a lot here.

Oh, but I made sure that this was a picture not linked back to a blog or website itself. Do you think I need to change it? And do you mean the one inside the post or as the post picture?
I meant the big picture on top of the page, right underneath the navigation bar. And I'm not sure whether you should change it or not, but I think it's worth asking the community.
Okay, I'll do that .That picture is just for the post it is from, but thank you for the advice
