Are you using VIDEOS?

Hello to all.

kind a "new" area for me, to post a blog here. The system is different then a few years back, man did I got old :-).

Anyhow, what's the point about this post here anyway. Look at the title.

Are you using videos for your marketing.........NO.......?

I guess you know that every other traffic strategy is on a DOWN TREND, while video marketing is having a huge grow which will remain.

So you NEED to use videos. And the best is to make them yourself, or have someone making them
for you (like me...?)

I got already a while back into video marketing and it is really a blessing to say at least because it opened for me the door to traffic which I NEVER could reach over article marketing (also because I suck big time in writing).

So I'm giving you here 3 ways to make VIDEOS for FREE (if you hate to work you can hire me, but that's at the bottom of the post, hehe).

In this post here is ONE way, and if you guy's like that I will post more in another post, deal.

Let's start

You need Microsoft Powerpoint, a software called JING and AUDACITY, both free software's. Don't know if you use a MAC but there is something similar to Powerpoint I guess, in the worst case go and get OpenOffice which has a similar tool.

Now, go and get some of your articles OR articles you have the right to use (PLR) and make a few slides in Powerpoint. Before you start, set the LAYOUT to 16:9 because that's the size you will record your video later on.
Do take a bit time to do so, add images relevant to the content and animations like text flying in ect....I know this sounds easier than it is but just try it, you will see that Powerpoint is an awesome tool and not that hard to use. The last version is way better then the older ones, just so you know. Last,

When you are done, test that presentation yourself over the slideshow feature. Only accept your presentation if you think it's really cool, be a bit self critical here. Check on a timer that your presentation won't exceed 2 minutes a lot cause that's the pain point for people watching videos which are text based. Well actually all videos shouldn't be too long unless it's a tutorial, a "how to". Promo videos for example shouldn't exceed 1 minute.

So now you go and open JING (supposing you've installed it already). In the CAPTURE button you have the option to take a screenshot or to record a video of your screen. If you have your Powerpoint presentation open you simply adjust the window from JING, a dotted yellow line exactly above the size of the slide.

IMPORTANT: make sure that you keep the Powerpoint control buttons OUTSIDE of the JING window or you will record your own mouse, what's not cool.

Now, if you start to record the video, JING gives you 3 seconds to actually start the recording. All you have to do from now on is reading your own text in a empowering way and click each time on the Powerpoint forward button to get the next animation or slide presented.

TIP: If you wanna make it a bit easier to match the slides animation to the text I recommend that you record your text FIRST using Audacity, a free audio recording software.

If you have your text already, you can import it into Powerpoint and follow along the audio with your slides and not the other way around. Got it?

But in case you do your audio directly, train a bit first reading that article LOUD to avoid EHHM's and AHH's.

I personally experienced a very bad audio quality recording inside JING so what I did was taking that video and recording my audio outside JING using Audacity.

Then you go into Windows Movie Maker with both files and mix them together. If you need a better Video editor I can recommend Video Pad, again, just Google for it and get the free version, You can import both files and adjust them to match, so that voice and video is synced.

If you really keep trying hard and follow those steps you need about a week to master this half way professionally.

Worth doing because you can get WAAYYY more traffic over published videos then over any other content generation.

Now to my offer.

I really love video marketing and have a few 5 dollar GIG's at Fiverr running for promo and intro videos, template based. Check out my profile here at
http://fiverr.com/easycash2/customize-this-epic-smoke-video-with-23-sec-adding-your-text

Below that Gig you can see my other video GIG's.

I also can do the above work for you in case you are not in the mood to learn how to do this. In this case the prices vary based on your needs (images, animations, voiceovers etc.) but I will definitely take into consideration that we meet at WA.

PM me in this case, OK.

Happy video producing.

G.
P.S. I branded myself as VIDEO SLAVE inside Fiverr, so don't worry, that's me.

So should I post another tip similar to this but with another tool than Powerpoint?

Thanks for taking the time to detail this. Looking forward to trying it out.
Regards
Hudson.

Hi Hudson
it's a bit time consuming at first but don't give up and keep at it and you will become faster with those tasks.
Important is also that you have a GOAL in mind with what you are doing, or you are going to waste hours and don't produce anything that is useful.
So if it's TRYING OUT the tools, then set this as goal and give like 45 minutes to each tool and really dig in to it and make videos or audios. Doesn't matter the quality right now, it's for that you get used to it what makes a huge difference.
Good luck and you can ask me if you need some help.
