I already have 2 registered businesses. Can I use their names as my domain name? And how do I go about buying it? I also want it to be .com.au
EG JensHensNT.com.au
The WA does offer domain registration but if I'm not mistaken they only offer .com, .net and .org - and of course hosting is free here for premium members.
And if I'm correct that they only offer thoses extentions that means they can't host it either- so for a domain such as the one you want you'll need to go to a domain registrar/host such as http://namecheap.com or http://godaddy.com
But before anything I would contact Kyle or Carson to make sure I'm correct with what I've mentioned here.
ok thanks.
if it is one of these am I still going to be able to make it Australian based? OR it doesnt matter Australian searches will still find it?

WA only registers TLD (Top Level Domains) - I already checked for a dot com dot au for my son. If your business is strictly Australian then you'll need to register the domain names at GoDaddy or another registrar that handles Australian domain names.
I'm in Australia (Adelaide) but all my businesses are international so I use dot coms.
I just checked GoDaddy and http://JensHensNT.com.au is available. Just type http://godaddy.com into the search bar and you'll get taken to their Sydney website.
You can have your website hosted here even if it is a dot com dot au.
Does it need to be Australian? You said you are from Adelaide but have dot com sites? I just assumed I'd need a .com.au
Anyone, anywhere in the world can have a dot com. It's not country specific. You'll find a list of my dot coms on my profile page https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/marionblack
