Coming Out of My Shell
Hello, my WA buds,
I've been hiding in the shadows for nearly a year now - recuperating from almost passing to the 'other side' and learning to prioritize what is actually important and what I need to cast aside.
Casting aside has been easy. I held an estate sale last year. It did great. Made about $35,000. And the man who held it took off with all the money. Oye vey. Talk about paring down to minimize! So I had nothing left material-wise and no money to show for it. It was quite the learning experience.
But I'm not upset anymore. It made me realize 'things' just aren't that important as I thought. The love of family and friends top my list of important 'things.'
I now have 2 functioning websites I made here on WA. Hey, they get easier to do with practice! One of them is dedicated to the disabled since I am in that category and can really relate to their plight. The other is a beauty product of an oil from Morocco that I totally believe in. It's making me look younger. At a real age of 68 I'm down to 58 now. I guess I'll stop at 28.....;0)
I hope to sell it private label on Amazon, which is a straight up learning curve for me. I'll also be selling another product, more like a toy which I'll be ordering tomorrow from my Chinese supplier, 150 of them. My daughter said, when she saw the sample, "Hey Mom, these are great for adults too! I want one!" That was encouraging.
So between having WA's help in developing and managing my 2 new websites, becoming a private label seller on Amazon, and oh, did I mention learning copywriting.....this is one busy lady. I consider myself a geriatric micro-entrepreneur for a cottage industry.
While I used to be a social butterfly here a couple of years ago (I miss that!), I've had to buckle down to get something accomplished and finished. That's been my problem since I am Bipolar and tend to start things but can't seem to see them to the end.
I have a folder in my inbox (gmail) of folks who added me to their network and I have yet to respond to them. Public apology here....so sorry. Sometimes at night I'll go in and thank and write to a few before I go to sleep. Maybe by next year I'll get to everyone. Around 175 of those. But I'm trying to get to everyone.
Kyle said not to write a novel. Duh, that dang Bipolar creeps up every time......;0) So I'll let you get back to your business. Warm regards to my friends and I hope to pop in every now and then.......

Ingunn, you hang in there, darlin' - you may get a permanent visa yet. At least you are putting yourself to good use for others and that's admirable.
Thanks! :-) I know it will all be fixed one day...maybe even in 2016! :-) I need to do something good while waiting so why not this? Our little school already help out a couple of families...I hope it can be many more! :-)
