Humble Beginnings

I'm a truck driver on the path to becoming a full-time marketer. I discovered the concept of making money online in 2010 and have been studying ever since. I've made a few commissions along the way, but nothing solid enough for me to fire my boss.

I've been watching how successful people move around online in the last few years and I realize a blog is a critical asset to have if you want to make money online. There's really no way around it especially as a beginner.

Why? Because without a blog, you have no real foundation. For this reason, every time I'm led astray, I always return to WA (I did a rhyme there lol and it's catchy!).

I made a mistake and thought I could make it without a blog for a long time, and my results show it. There are people online who make things seem as easy as "copy and paste," "point and click," or "drag and drop." I've paid for all of those programs and fallen for all of that malarky, and I don't know of one 6 or 7 figure marketer that has gained wealth from programs like that.

You might say 12 years is a long time to try something and not be full-time by now. Sure, it is. However, I've learned and taken so many notes in that amount of time that I now know the full value of a blog and i'm back at WA (AGAIN) to build out my knowledge.

When I made my first $1,000 online (from more than one affiliate program), I knew I wouldn't give up until I became a six figure earner, and I haven't. I won't. This is the type of mindset you have to have with any kind of marketing.

Life is going to get in the way every time you think about logging in to WA. It will get in the way when you log into WA and start typing, when doing your research, when watching lessons, when planning content... Life is going to serve you painful blows! I'm telling you this from EXPERIENCE trying to juggle my dream alone with mental health issues and a slew of personal problems.

Sometimes it will make you want to quit, but don't. Take a break, but don't quit. Clean up your wounds and pick up where you left off. You still have goals to accomplish and dreams to build!

My goal is to be able to finally change my title to full-time online marketer in a few years and inspire thousands to never give up on their passion. Whether it makes sense to other people or not, it's YOUR passion. Maybe it isn't meant to make sense to other people.....

It's tough to do while you are on the road I am sure, but you sound determined. You already see the potential. I like your advice... take a break but don't quit.

Having to be on the road has become even more motivation. Staying in shape and getting good sleep is hard in a demanding industry most times and these things are important to me. I rejoined WA to at give myself something else to work toward.

That's a great reason to rejoin.

It doesn't matter how long it takes us to get there, Melaney, as long as we do! An excellent post, indeed!

Jeff

Thank you Jeffrey! I couldn't agree more.

You're very welcome, Melaney! Keep succeeding!
