My Journey and Adjustments to Affiliate Marketing
Hi everyone,
I want to share my progress (or lack of) to hopefully get support to push forward toward the long road ahead. I understand that it will take time, hard work and of course hopefully I will go through the end of the tunnel.
I'm juggling with work, family and my desire to suceed as an affilaite marketer. I started WA in March 2020 and got my own domain in June 2020.
Now 1 August 2021, bottom line my progress is posts 26, approved comments 136, google index yes, blog rank unknown, no subscribers, no sales (I have many excuses, but I only blame on myself). My initial goal is relatively modest, get views, ranked and hopelly get sales $50 to cover the cost each month.
My niche seems to be too broad, as I didn't know what to look at (home, family, making money, productivity). I wasn't also clear on my biweekly targets.
I have now finished and got back to the 5 level training, since some items was really new to me and after reading it now, I understand it better.
So, as a new page in my affiliate marketing, I have decided to narrow my niche: making money online and self/personal development. I think I have enough passion and some knowledge about these niche at this stage.
So my target this month:
- Website facelift adjust to focus on: making money online & self development
- 3 blogs with good keywords, hopefully get ranked
- Set up all social media to promote my blogs.
- Get traffic 10-30 (this month) and hopeflly higher blog rank (ps. still don't know how I can measure this, I got google rank for the site ok).
I'll catch you up with my progress next month, and see whether we can achieve those targets.
Stay safe and healhty everyone,
David

Every site will take its own time and each niche is different. I would suggest upping the rate of posting if you want results faster. At least 8 posts a month preferably 10 or more but I have trouble finding time and creativity at the same moments. Rest assured though you are making progress and as long as you apply what you learn immediately to the things you do you will be just fine.
Keep going I am cheering for you as I learn here at WA. You have a big accomplishment already while working 9 to 5. things will start clicking soon for the bank account.
Well, David! You know what you need to do!
