New Google acheivement Inexed
This was a difficult step for me. Something I thought was quite easy, seemed to take forever to get sorted out. For some reason, the first website I started with has still not been indexed and it is now week 3. This is concerning but Google did have some indexing issues last week. My first website is on a siterubix subdomain. It is possible that it knows a lot of users switch for siterubix and submit a new domain name with the same info. Perhaps Google is waiting to see if this happens or if it's around long enough it will index it.
The good news is I received an email on 25th July to say my new niche website has been indexed by Google and is now active. This was in about 1 week and on its own domain name. This is excellent news. It means in a crowd full of so many websites coming out on the internet, people may actually find mine.
What helped me get indexed:There are 3 things I was able to use to help with this.
- Google training and blog posts on Wealthy Affiliate
- Setting up a Google Analytics account and linking it to my site
- Webmaster tools for Google search console - Verified domain name
When I tried to use the Google search console I could not easily verify my siterubix or main domain name. It would say about verifying the domain provider or adding things to DNS for verification. So I took a step back and referred to WA.
Google Analytics:
I recommend going this first. It was much easier for me to verify my site and paste a snip of code into my website theme editor (after the head section) than to use the search console. I also added the Google plugin to my website to ease verification. Within 30min I clicked verify as I still had Google Analytics open. The button went green and it was done.
This is when I went back to the web tool Google Search Console and verified my domain via the Analytics option. Took like 5 minutes not like the 2 days prior.
WA Google support:
I am very pleased with the support I got from the WA. I couldn't remember where I found the training for Google or what to try to get verified. A simply please help message to WA helped me find an answer in just a couple of minutes. This is a big-time saver. So thank you so much to everyone who uses the chart and creates training and posts at Wealthy Affiliate. You are very much appreciated.
I hope this post will help a few others to get their verified too. Don't be disheartened if it takes time. once you have submitted your site to Google or other search engines. They add you to a list. They go through the list one at a time. Submitting your site multiple times does not make them add you any faster than other websites. So patience is key.
Good luck on your journey x.

Congratulations on the indexing of your site.
It is difficult to predict when sites will be indexed.
Just for clarification, when a siterubix.com website is MOVED to a purchased dot com - it is a MOVE and not a copy so there are not 2 sites with the same content. There are redirects created to tell search engines that any indexing that was done for the siteuribx.com website now needs to be changed to the new domain name.
Its great to see you are looking for explanations and doing research. That should be a real asset as you build content for your niche website.
Thanks for that wondered why got 2 copies 1 site and 1 seperate site rubix in another niche not transfered yet as still building it. The 2nd site rubix taking tome to get indexed but I'm glad my new domain has.
When indexing will occur is hard to predict. They have a budget they work with too. But it will get indexed. Sometimes it takes a lot of patience.
I hear you. Was surprised sub domain taking so long compared to main domain but it's all good
