Why I Quit Wealthy Affiliate

Catchy headline, Huh?

It is the truth. I did quit WA last week.

For years now I have been jumping around from one program to another thinking "this will be the one" to take me to the next level. The reality is that I have never spent enough time with one program to make anything work. The same with WA.

I have read, understood and written about how it is totally reliant upon the individual to make whatever program or training they are involved in work. Granted, a person needs to be comfortable with the training and such.

My decision to quit on Friday was one of not wanting to put in the time to make this work. Seemed too much at the time...rash decision. Self confession, I am one of those people who are constantly getting ready to get ready.

I do have a lot on my plate as I am sure many of you do, yet some of you are making this work regardless. Trust me I have put in a lot of time, but always stop. NOT ANY MORE!

Sunday I read a discussion post submitted by @jespinola. Needless to say after reading the comments back, some very brief with others very lengthy but all well thought out, I realized that I was quitting on myself and giving up on an opportunity to eventually reach the desire to have an internet business.

While I have worked from home in the graphic design/web design industry since 1992 delivering for my clients, I could never deliver for myself. Call it too critical, burnt out at the end of the day or whatever, I felt like a hamster running on its wheel. A lot of energy being spent and getting no where...NOT ANY MORE!

I have rededicated myself to WA and attaining the goals I initially set out when I joined.

Thank you Kyle and Carson for your vision and efforts and everyone at WA that I am associated with.

God Bless,

Bryan

i 2nd that, i kinda got scared reading this post too. I was really thinking you were the 1st (as far as i know) that literally wanted to leave WA just by the title.....good for you for keeping dedicated to the program; your best bet is to have a timeline.....i usually dont go day to day to think "today will be my day that i will earn" but rather give yourself like 10 months and say "10 months from today I will have my first sale" the good thing about this idea is that you dont have to feel bummed out that "it isnt working" and you will anticipate for the success to come by that deadline; an ample amount of time to see where you stand after being committed for 10 months; i think one of the guys on here said he started making a living off WA after about 10 months.....so thats my advice to you; i am giving my goal success by june 16, 2016. so i am not going to expect anything for another year.....and i am also following you see how you are progressing along. p.s. you kinda look like steve martin lol (if you like the guy hope that comes out as a compliment) lol

Hi bryantuck:
I am so new to this that I hope I am doing the right thing. I have a question for you. Would you be interested in sharing a blog post. I would love to post your blog 'Why I quit WA' into one of my pages. This is simply for a review for oncoming people. Plz. let me know

I would be happy to share.

Love your hamster wheel. Many of us have/had them. WA didn't promise to be easy but you can be successful if you stick to it. Glad you're back (I quit once too but threw my wheel away). LOL

Bryan you scared me. I'm still having the "I want it now"thing and it is hard for me to continue to be patient.

I still want it now, but this is a great way to practice the virtue of patience. Hang in there!
