Google Authorship Rocks the Rankings

I kid you not. Yesterday I ranked #2 on Google for a search term that has 3619 monthly searches with 345 competing pages. After a little more than 24 hours

How did I do it.....Google Authorship.

I had this set up but did not do anything with it until Monday. Working Tuesday night I searched my keyword for giggles on Google and to my surprise there I was #2.

I had sent the post associated with this keyword to 20 some social bookmarks and then added the post link it to my Google+ profile. That is it! The #2 ranking will take someone searching to my Google+ profile then to my website.

Very good training from the WA family on this.

I know this is only the beginning. Direct linking to my website will be ideal. There is still much to do to get my business running smoothly. But I am excited about this!
