Couchsurfing
This is not an endorsement for Couchsurfing but with millions of followers; it is worth a look - sleep on someone's couch for a few dollars.
At first, I thought it was for young adventurous folks, but I now see eighty-year-olds using it. An eighty-year-old American lady was cycling through France.
I'm planning a trip to downtown Boston, and the hotel rates are, well it makes you reconsider. Airbnb I've seen offerings for a
couch in Boston via Airbnb also, but Couchsurfing goes one step further by having fellow "couchers" meet up when they are in the same city.I might try this for one night when my adventurous mode kicks in who knows there could be hidden opportunities in this niche.

I don't know if it is good or bad, but I've never looked at Craiglist. Simply due to hearing of people who lost their lives by advertising or responding to an ad on Craiglist. So I jut took a peek to try to answer your question, and I do not like the UX, so that is it.
Glad to know, Mike, that you found it an interesting concept..I thought so too. Now it is how one can tap into this industry to gain leverage?
That is interesting. I knew about renting a room in someones house kind of like a one room bed and breakfast and the sites you can do that at but this couch surfing is a new one for me.
Your right they will. If you check for change in the couch you might get some of your money back.
