Achieving A Smooth Move
What goes in must come out and coming out smoother is the preferred choice. But smooth moves can be as rare as an eclipse of the sun. Problems with constipation are larger than life itself.
The solution is simpler than you could imagine. But first here are some of the options to avoid inconsistency. Bread is foremost on the list followed by dairy products and alcohol. Diuretics and pills for hypertension with diuretics will remove water from the body. Water that the body needs for a smooth move.
Avoid constantly eating processed foods and packaged foods. Buy foods you wrap in the supermarket or place in plastic bags, except fresh bread, before checkout.
I swear by a glass of red wine followed by a few glasses of water for regularity, but most likely it is the water because alcohol causes constipation, as well as coffee, and products with high caffeine content.
Drink at least seven glasses of water a day and remember beverages are not water. Eat plenty of vegetables especially the leafy green vegetables. The best leafy green I've tried is "amsoi" from Suriname, and I can't find the English translation for it.
Apart from brown rice I've had little success with fiber as a means of avoiding constipation.
