Alive and kicking
Dear everyone,
this is my very first blog post here on WA so please excuse me if it is somehow clumsy or tentative. I have a few things that I would like to share with you.
I feel obliged to be honest and open to each and every one of you who were kind enough to follow me. I am the first to admit that I haven't been all that active and productive in the past few weeks since I became a premium member. For that please accept my most sincere apologies and I promise you it will change from here on.
Not that I look for specific excuses but these past few weeks were very challenging for me indeed. My health issues are unfortunately deteriorating and as it stands now I have to live with my condition for the rest of my life. I really wouldn't bother you with details about it so let me just say that at best it won't get worse but it seems that it almost certainly nor will improve.
This was very hard to accept both for me, for my fiancée and for my family. But at least I can gain strength from the fact that they all stand by me, they are there for me and for this I can not feel lucky and fortunate enough. I simply am not allowed to feel sorry for myself when I am so lucky that I have people around me who really do care for me - there are far too many people around the world who don't have that privilege.
So I decided that I won't allow myself to keep lamenting about my condition and hence to keep postponing my online work anymore. It's time I don't just get hit but hit back myself as hard as I possibly can.
I decided to stick to a strict schedule from today and to utterly focus on my online business venture with you lot :) Sophie, my beloved and amazing wife-to-be is forced to work in an another country because of our tight financial situation so we are unfortunately apart most of the time. This gives me the boost to do my utmost best at succeeding with my online business. My one and only priority right now is to hopefully earn enough to be able to get her back home permanently by the end of 2014.
But I know that in order to achieve that goal I have to focus on doing a good quality job at my writing first. I have to create quality content on my website, I have to engage with my hopefully ever-growing audience. I have to be there for them, listen to them and help them in any way I can. Although I don't have much experience in this business at all but I am sure this is the right approach. Leads, sales only come after hard work and hard work is indeed what I need to put in my writing and my communication with my audience.
So here I am, with my nice hot cuppa tea in my hand, listening to Bach pieces to kick off my day with. I recently purchased my very first domain, I worked on its plugins and its design and now I can start posting my articles on it. I will definitely keep you guys updated on how my journey goes into the world of online business.

I see from your profile you have been a member for some time. I take from that you have read all the training on starting a niche and building it.
If you did it a long time ago I would recommend going through it again as there has been many changes to how best to set up and build your site.
If you can, set out a daily routine and try to stick to it. Don't get side tracked with distractions like posting in the chat feeds. (unless calling out for help or helping others)
Also don't worry too much about your writing and how it reads. Just concentrate on getting content together you can always go over it and correct slight grammar errors and re-write sections. This doesn't mean you put up bad content go for reasonable rather than stressing over perfect for now. As you grow in writing and with your niche this will improve.
In fact this is good SEO by going back often and changing posts. Just get it done. If you have full days to work you should be able to put out a post a day easy. Give us a shout of stuck I will do what I can to help.
