Inadequate?
I have been working hard on the training and implementing everything possible. Some is outdated but I looked up ways to do it and, of course did. My site was indexed by the end of the first week! That was a great feeling simply because I knew that I was doing something correctly.
After that, I had a few other articles that were indexed. Wonderful news! Most of that I can say is due to the amazing people here and their extremely unique comments on my posts. Naturally, the posts were content filled and had one focused key word.
I read and comment on the articles that the other members of this group have published. The sites are actually quite amazing and usually the articles are as well. I then, go look at mine and feel like I’m not doing . This girl is feeling inadequate in every respect.
I hope to be able to get better but I spend so much of my time on this already. It is doubtful that I could be more attentive than I already am.
I intend to add new products to my site in hopes that I can sell enough to pay for next month's membership. Otherwise, I am going to have problems. I can not spend anything else on this. I honestly shouldn’t even have spent anything to begin with but I was hoping.
My medical expenses are out of this world 🌎. Actually, tomorrow Enter your own correction... going to have an infusion and the price before insurance is $65,000 and that is just the one medication that is actually infused. The medications that I receive before the infusion, the specialist, nurse, blood work, and what ever else I need is not included in that price.
Thank goodness for insurance. They pay eighty percent of my medical expenses. I hear a lot of people who say that insurance is not worth what you pay for it. For some people it probably is not but for me I don’t know what I would do without it. I receive a yearly statement that tells you how much they paid out, you paid and several other details. Just last year my medical expenses were a little more than one third of a million dollars 💵. Insane!
Considering that my husband has to pay for everything, because I cannot work, I keep trying to figure out how to help a little. I despise the feeling of being so dependent and inadequate.
In case you are wondering, I have a fairly advanced and unusual case of primary progressive multiple sclerosis. I do have several other conditions now but it is not important. Enter your own correction... very strong willed and stubborn. Those qualities get me through each day and my really big heart helps as well. It reminds me that I may have trouble walking but there are some with no legs. I feel for them and push me.

The way to success is not an easy one and there is no instant money solution with setting up a website. It takes time and effort to build up...
If you feel this is too much... you better give up.
Since you have the love and support of your husband, reconsidder your options with him.
And please, try not give in to feelings of being inadequat. They only burden you. Let go. Just accept,what is and make the best of it. And know a website can be very therapeutic as well

Ha Ha, give up? That’s a nice way to say that. If I cannot do this because of financial issues, I can guarantee that it is not because anything is too much. I am not that type of person.
💪🏻 🤦♀️😆 and you, from my guess, are one of the types of people that will say stuff like that to make someone more determined. Reverse psychology works on a lot of people but unfortunately I am quite “intelligent” and also studied psychology in college... 😗
I am sorry your feeling that way Briget.
My girl has progressive MS and it breaks my heart to see her at her lows.:(
But you know it is still very early days for you here at WA, and although I know your venting a little here, your style of writing is very human and easy to read.
And I can imagine your site will be better! With that being said I am sure you are going to do well. :)

I’m sorry to hear that. It’s not an easy thing to deal with. I don’t think that most people understand. Please give her all the support you can, in every way. If you don’t mind, wish her luck for me. I’m sure I have written more professionally on my site than here.

I have chronic health problems too. I can still work but only because I have a great boss and co-workers.
I looked at your site and you are doing amazingly well for only having your first post up in September! You are moving along very quickly. This whole process takes time so you need to find ways to make enough money to get by while you are building up your site. It takes time to make a good income from this though it does work. You can make a little money by leaving comments on Site Comments here. Maybe that would be a way to tide you over? You have to become a certified commenter first but if you have the time you could do that fairly quickly. Maybe you are already doing this so sorry if this is a redundant suggestion but I really want to see you succeed here!
