There is no blacklisting, you can have them 100 if you need. See yourself, from Google's representative: How many links per page is too many?
Oh that's very interesting. In the training, kyle was talking about how having too many affiliate links can appear spammy to Google and you might get blacklisted. I think it was in one of the training videos. Thanks for sharing this article !
You were speaking about links that are not affiliate links. So Cutts most likely speaks about it.
As for affiliate links I do not wish to argue, Kyle wanted you to play safe, but I have them in every posts a few, sometimes 6-7. See Dom's blog about it, many links, never issues with them.
