The joy of being your own boss
One of the benefits of being your own boss, is that you can take time to spend with those who matter most.
Today I am taking time out of my day to take my son to his swimming lessons.

Up at dawn to watch the sunrise. A few hours working on my website and content. Some time for exercise and work out. Some outdoor work in the yard. Trip to grocery store for stuff to make dinner. Prepare dinner for everyone. Evening time with wife and son. Maybe golf tomorrow.
I have been my own boss for about 2 months now. I never regretted a single moment.
Now I cringe at the thought of going back to a 9 to 5 office job.
It has been over 5 years since I last worked for someone else. The only thing I miss regularly is having work colleagues. That is where the WA community is so great. So many amazing people to have conversations with and to learn from :)
I don't miss any of my colleagues. all they did is plot and scheme against each other, including playing tricks on me. I'm glad I'm away from all that.

Yes, you can go wherever you want without rushing to catch up with other schedules.
Yes, that is what I love about being self employed the most.
