Can You Identify Artificial Intelligence Auto-Generated Writing vs. Human-Generated Writing?
(Cover image: photo of two individuals dressed in NASA space suit outfits, one is a robot, and the other is a human being inside the space suit.
Question about the photo. Can anyone of you identify which one of the two individuals in the image is a human being?
Naturally, we assume that the person on the right side of the photo that there is a human being inside that space suit. On the left, we think it's a robot.
Why is that?
We are trained to identify the difference. But what if the robot was inside the space suit on the right and a human being was on the left dressed in a robotic costume? Would you be fooled? Yeah, then our first assumption would be wrong.
This poses a challenging question for Google and us.
Can anyone identify the difference with the topic in question?

Can You Identify Artificial Intelligence Auto-Generated Writing vs. Human-Generated Writing?Google said that using any form of Artificial Intelligence as auto-computerized generated content will be called spam from the Search Engine Land article in April 2022.
I will show a writing introduction sample, and you tell me which one is from AI and the other is written by a human being, meaning from me.
It will be brief, I promise. I show just an introduction on one of my blog posts.
My keyword example is Best Women's Wide Feet Arctic Hiking Boots.
Introduction:
1. Hiking during the arctic cold weather can be dangerous if you don't have the proper foot gear. Suppose you are out on a hike during below-zero windchill with a heavy snowpack and ice. You are wearing regular black winter boots and slipped on the ice. As luck would have it, you're not injured but realize the need for appropriate hiking boots to prevent serious falls and injuries.
2. The best hiking boots for women with wide feet for the arctic cold weather are made with a waterproof and insulated lining. The lining is made of a combination of wool, fleece, and synthetic fibers that work to keep your feet warm in freezing temperatures. The best boots also have a high-traction rubber sole that will keep you from slipping on ice or in the heavy snowpack.
Please comment section and tell me which introduction 1 or 2 is AI auto-generated or written by me as a human (not a robot).
Next, explain why AI is not a wise choice and what Google will do if you use AI software for your article.
Thank you.

Hi Brenda…
Thank you for yet another great informative blog post!
I’m thinking that the first paragraph is written by a human, as it is more conversational and descriptive in it form. The second paragraph is more more rigid as nice conversation and there’s an offer some situations as the first paragraph does — it’s more straightforward.

I believe that AI is here to stay and I don`t believe that it is cheating. A lot of people have no knowledge or experience in writing articles like yourself or others. Let me put it this way, a single father has 3 kids to look after and his only way of creating funds to take care of those kids is to join wealthy affiliate and use AI to create content and make money, would you begrudge him that, I would hope not. Surely the idea of running a business is to solve a problem a customer has and make money from it. Crypto has AI helping people to further their funds. You go out and buy your clothes that someone else has created, can`t you buy a sewing machine and make your own. All I am saying is that people find a way to advance in life. A lot of businesses use AI to promote their products. if using AI to helps them advance their business, then fair play. And let me just add, didn`t AI give Stephen Hawking a voice. Have a great day.
I would also expand on your point that I think got overlooked by Brian in his analogy.
AI has several flaws, the most glaring as you mention elsewhere is the lack of a human element. You mentioned it lacks a point of reference for pain, and it does as well for joy, or frustration or the many other experiences we have.
Where this will hurt those who it is posited aren't good writers is if they use these programs, it's possible they might get somewhat decent articles. Ones that are dry and boring like many classes we had to attend back in school. Lacking that human connection, the visitors will have nothing to grab onto, nothing compelling them to try.
The writers in Brian's scenario would be better off writing (in my opinion) even poorly and work on putting their human energy into the words they produce. Anyone (even an AI) can put words to paper, but putting ones energy into those words is something many choose not to and they probably make up a lot of sites that fail year in year out.
I want to expand on this even further.
I'm still building my foundational pages for my website. I'm guessing there might initially be as many as 35-40. They are all impossible to rank for topics and keywords for a new site.
But I'm not building my website for Google algorithms. I need to focus first on the purpose of my website, and once I have what I need for people to find on it then I can begin contemplating blog posts that fit the theme for easier to rank keywords.
I've wondered since joining how many focus so much on the SEO part right out of the gate they lose sight of the folks they want to come to the site and as a result lose many birds in the hand chasing after the birds in the bush.
Googles AI algorithms should never override (in my opinion) the actual purpose of ones site. That in my opinion is allowing the tail to wag the dog.
Whether we like it or not, Artificial Intelligence has come to stay. There seems to be so much angst against the use of Artificial Intelligence in writing posts but we seem to see nothing wrong in going to UPwork to hire a free lancer to write articles for our websites.
I am not a fan of A.I. I used it once and was so disappointed with the outcome that I had to do a complete re-write. But I have come to realize that A.I has become a permanent feature in writing posts and some affiliate marketers are putting it to good use in generating a large number of posts for their websites
My question is: Are A.I. generated posts plagiarism? I'd like to know.
Agreed. It will be difficult to connect with a reader's pain point if you can not show empathy.
Hi Brenda, #2 is AI.
Kyle did a Vlog the other day for Premium + on a few upcoming items related to WA in 2023. He started with the AI topic and Google's response will be not nuttin' nice to those using AI.
Evidently, Google has been a few moves ahead on this and the AI content-filled sites will suffer greatly. It will be devastating to those that do.
I prefer the human element, in reading content, by a mile. Incorrect grammar and punctuation are kind of fun. It reminds me of how beautiful and imperfect we humans are.
Natural, genuine, imperfect, and honest are far more appealing to me.
When needing an answer for health concerns let's say, of course, is different. I expect WebMD to be as perfect as it should be.
I tried Ryter for free, once, for one paragraph, and uninstalled it immediately. It was unnatural and uncomfortable for me.
Having a machine portray a certain emotion that I chose from a column in writing for me, just didn't make me feel good. After reading that one paragraph it wrote for me I still needed to edit it and it still didn't sound like me.
So, she gawn!
The learning curve in writing is part of the hard work and subsequent gifts of said hard work, which is far more gratifying for me. Grammarly is as far as I go, so far.
Hi, Brenda
Great post! 👍
Google can find AI-generated content based on content structure analysis of things like the way AI uses tokens to syllabize words.
Google currently uses its own AI, and eventually, it will have to come to terms with the fact that this tech is here to stay for others, too.
In fact, I predict that at some point, Google will begin generating its own content for its search engine, optimized to increase its ad income.
AI-mediated natural language processing is already being used to identify and pull in case-relevant medical data from a patient’s old records and auto-write it in the most appropriate format.
From an affiliate marketing point of view, the best idea at this point is to continue to write your own content.
If you use AI as an outline generator to write your content, be sure you really know your niche. The AI tools that I have evaluated generate a significant amount of factually incorrect info.
Just my opinion.
Frank 🎸
I agree, Brenda
For those using AI, I think the best approach is to generate an outline and select the points you want to use as headlines (H2 & H3 tags) in your article. Some people are finding this quicker than doing it all manually.
After the post is structured and organized, write all the actual content yourself. Always fact-check anything you get from AI. Of course, you need to incorporate your views on potential pain points, etc.
Regarding robotic surgery, the console for the surgeon's controls is getting smarter and smaller. The endpoint is autonomous robotic surgery with a surgeon available for backup. Scary stuff!
I'm glad you have your WiFi back. 😎

Brenda,
Wow! This is a golden post. I attended a YouTube channel this week (to help me with my website posts (SimoninAsis) and they were talking about this same topic.
AI - generated content is predicted to phase out in the future because it is supposedly considered thin content and eventually Google bots will be able to sniff it out.
I guess the beauty of AI is in the eye of the beholder. However, I suppose if one is good at applying it, it could be a helluva way to churn out awesome content.
I would highly recommend that we proceed with caution with this AI giant.
Jasper was on my to-do list but I haven't been impressed so far.
I will not rule it out. I may hire a Upwork who is a master writer to help me out.
Going with the flow.
Excellent bookmark post

Brenda,
Thank you for always expressing your unique point of view. I love that. I totally agree with you that writing should be a reflection of our human personality. AI content will never be able to replace a human writer. I get that.
I recently inquired about getting help for my website at Upwork. The beginning pay-out starts at $1400/week (40 hours). Who can afford this kind of money? Although the Upwork creative is highly skilled, I can save a lot by doing my own writing. I have not checked out Jasper (AI) prices. It, supposedly, has some of the best creator content factories.
AI bots better watch out (lol). Google has an eye on them. Your point of view makes a lot of sense, Brenda. I wonder what the penalty is if Google makes an AI bust? Is technology helping or hurting the website business?
The SMART world is upon us.
Rachele
Brenda,
You have saved me a lot of hassle. I had a gut feeling about this type of AI thing. How in the world can they possibly end up on page one. This is mind-boggling. It's ashamed that this AI mentality is seeping into every aspect of life.
When I call to make a doctor's appointment I have to go through "Vicky" a Virtual Assistant. She is a pain in the derriere. The people who are dependent on it are in for a big surprise. We will see many websites go hopping down that rabbit hole. We then get to say, "I told you so."
Thanks, my techy friend

Here are my thoughts on this subject. I did an in-depth blog loads of research on AI different types even to the original creator of the who was a 16-year-old boy when he started. The AI became so perfect that many people could not distinguish between it being a real person or an AI. Even today the creation of the AI in Japan cannot be distinguished between a real person or not. Furthermore, our own technology here in the U.S. have created chatbots who sound and talk to you on websites as like people - so how do you or anyone really know are they people or AI's?
Oh, and by the way that 16-year-old boy - grown now has several manufacturing plants and making billions.
Therefore, who can really answer your question? lol
Your absolutely right our world is headed to a fast pace and forget everything else attitude
