Never Undervalue Your Time

We are all stewards - managers of the time we have. You and I get 168 hours in a week no matter who we are.

So when it comes to building a business, or a life, for that matter, every minute is extremely valuable.

It's very easy to spend our time doing things that produce and reap no real value. The internet is filled with "easy" ways to make money by "surfing" or "clicking" or "filling out surveys," etc. The problem usually is that when you get to the end of an hour, you feel you've wasted a little piece of your life and it hasn't actually produced anything for you, or for others.

Instead, spend your time building something of value. Build something that serves a real purpose. That can include everything from reviewing products to help consumers make wise choices to coaching and leading people to make wiser choices in their lives.

Spending your valuable time wisely also includes rest, leisure, and exercise. It includes downtime as well as plenty of time to work and be productive. A life spent well is a life lived in rhythm.

You get one life. Its length is unpredictable. Spend it well.

Yes, agree, time is precious, Brandon, more so than money as long as we already have basic food and shelter. Your post serves as a good gentle reminder.

I also want to mention the following article http://jamesclear.com/taking-action
(It gave me the answer as to how I had been previously spinning my wheels and not getting anywhere. Now that I know why, I'm looking forward to finally getting somewhere.)

P.S. As a subscriber, I get emails from JamesClear and also got a free ebook on habits. I find his material to be eye-opening, and actually WA member MartyHubon recommended his material.

Yes! I love James. I'm a subscriber of his as well. Thanks for mentioning that.

Time is a big problem, there is not enough of it to go around ones expectations

Time is our most valuable commodity that we have.

You're absolutely right!
