9 Differences Between Search Engine and Social Media Traffic
Orbit Media just posted this infographic about the differences between search engine and social media traffic. There's a lot of truth here.
You'll have some posts that travel well over social but never seem to rise to the top of search results and other posts that don't go far on social but hit page one on search.
There are reasons for that and it's primarily because with search, I go looking for something I want to know about, but with social, I click on what makes me feel like clicking.
