Meaning of Life Revised and Revisited (volume 1)
So here I go again trying to conquer the world - trying to be successful and noticed and hopefully admired for all of my great uniqueness and spectacular assets. If nothing else, noticed will do (as long as its not by the IRS or the police).
So here I go again trying to impress everyone. My wife is no longer impressed with me and no longer laughs at any of my jokes, so I have to do something. Carnegie Hall rejected me, because I was upstaged by Fifty-Cent. So much for working so hard at that Chopin etude..
My favorite quote of all time is from a campaign speech by Teddy Roosevelt when he said "The secret to my success is the ability to go from failure to failure with undiminished enthusiasm." This pretty much sums it up for me, although my enthusiasm needs a jump-start.. Anybody got cables?
I have yet to decide what I'm going to be when I grow up. I have yet to decide to grow up, and I think this will be a dead issue until I'm dead. When I'm out of work and people ask me what I do, I tell them I'm an artist. This worked fine until someone asking me to draw a paycheck. I should have drawn him a blank check.
