May The 4th Be With You - Star Wars is a Niche
How many Star Wars fans here within Wealthy Affiliate? Did you know franchises like Star Wars are also very popular and profitable niches? I remember years ago, writing a few WA blogs about different focused Star Wars sub niches.
A PROFITABLE STAR WARS SUB NICHE
When it comes to the Star Wars franchise being your niche, you will need to find a more narrowed down sub niche, because the niche is far too broad. One sub niche that is narrow and focused is that of LEGO model kits for adults 16+.
Someone choosing this niche can make it even more narrow by only promoting the Ultimate Collector Series. These are the top line most detailed model kits that cost hundreds of dollars. The kit shown below sells for more than $500 USD.

Star Wars collectibles are very popular and highly profitable. Just think of how many movies there are and how intense fans can be. I am even a Star Wars Geek. I have dropped some serious cash to get the collectibles I want.
Other popular Star Wars sub niches are anything having to do with Cos Play and costumes for Halloween and character parties. There are so many products you could choose to promote. Star Wars is a PROFITABLE niche.

MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU
Remember, Star Wars isn't the only Sci-Fi or Fantasy franchise niche that is both popular and profitable. Star Trek is just as big. You also have niches within popular TV franchises like Game of Thrones and others.
Don't dismiss the entertainment industry for a Niche idea. You just have to make sure that your niche isn't too broad and you will have the possibility of a profitable niche. If you have any comments, please leave them below and...

its a superb Niche!
I love the retro toys as it reminds me of my childhood.
I went to Liverpool Comicon over the weekend and a lot of stalls had Star Wars figures and memorabilia , the feeling of nostalgia was overpowering and took me back to being a child in a toy shop again.
Amazing !
I know the feeling. Pretty much all of my childhood was wrapped up in Star Wars and Star Trek. Both of those franchises and the collectibles that are associated with them, will always take me back to my childhood days.
I love seeing the retro toys, I also saw a model of a Battle star Galactica viper , I was going snap it up but it was £120 , I passed lol
but Dirk Benedict (Starbuck) was there signing autographs!
I love that!
Many years ago, one of my clients was trying to come up with a niche. While others in the group had lots of ideas he didn't have anything.
I started asking him about skills, knowledge etc. Everything came back as I don't know anything. He then said - I'm on your course because my mum said I had do it. I'm on benefits (health reasons), can't get a job and don't know what to do.
I asked him what he did during the day. Watch Star Wars was the reply. Great, that's your niche, I told him.
He went on to setup a YouTube Channel on Star Wars and was monetised very quickly. Not just monetised but making thousands of dollars a month.
Sadly, due to the health issues, he is no longer with us, but I like to share his story because if you are passionate about something, you can turn it into a business.
May the 4th be with you.
Great story! I’ve had similar experiences when helping new members here at WA. Many times the ideal niche is right in front of us. Sometimes I can find niches by just reading a member bio.
Many of us when first starting out will tend to overlook things we enjoy doing and look for products or niches that we think will convert. One should never dismiss a favorite pastime for a niche. It might just be the most profitable in the long run.
Love Star Wars and Yoda is my favourite. Even called my cat that and who would have believed it, I now teach a student who also has a black cat called Yoda!
Strong the force is, I see!
When I think back to being a young teenager and seeing the first ever Star Wars movie in 1977, I sometimes forget that there are generations that weren’t even born yet when the movie premiered. For those of us who did see the movies from the beginning, I think it’s amazing the impact that franchise has had on us.

I had not thought of Star Wars sub-niches as an online business. This reasoning opens up a whole field of things to promote for my sons who are into digital products, games and model building. Thanks for the tip. All the best to you with your online business and here on WA.
