I'm on namecheap.com and just bought a domain, and they are asking to set up my DNS or redirect your domain. What do I do?
You need to change the namerservers and point them to WA. Here is a great video to walk you through it: Transfer Domain Name DNS from NameCheap to WA
you can leave it with namecheap or change it to the free hosting within WA. Connect NameCheap Domains with WA Hosting
All of this is in the training, so my first question is ... have you gotten this far in your training?
You'll need to redirect; I've only used GoDaddy but I'm thinking the steps will be the same. Here ya go...
Copy and paste:
Primary: NS1.MYWAHOSTING.COM
Secondary: NS2.MYWAHOSTING.COM
Make sure you save it. If there's more to NameCheap, then I'm sure somebody else will chime in.
God Bless!

I have what a lot of my friends are calling a fabulous idea and I don't know quite how to go about it. It's an idea for a line (brand) of T-shirts and I don't know how to procee
oh see Kat has given you link to Zazzle.com I know another member tried this out worth a shot
I used Google to search for "t-shirt affiliate program," and I got a lot of sites...You might look into that and see what kind of programs each site offers.
No but I did try on one time and had no idea how to go about it. The only sale I made was to my mom so I wouldn't have any advice for you. :)
No I thought about this and running it through Cafe Press but their affiliate program is horrible, prob the worst I have seen.
If you can Screen Print them yourself or find a better supplier then CafePress, I think it is a good idea. There are always company gatherings looking to buy 10-20 T-shirts or kid's baseball teams or the mom's and dad's. It's really a limitless Idea
Thanks for the reply. Have you ever heard of teespring? They do everything (screen print - and ship) all that is necessary is to set-up campaigns and drive traffic to buy them. Just wondering if it can be done with a domain and website from WA.
Once you've got a site established, it would be like any other sort of affiliate product you'd promote.
If you have enough traffic, the right designs relating to your niche, and some killer copy, I imagine it would do very well.

Is there a method to deal with IRS on this site?
Anything over $600 needs to be report to the IRS, however, when you are investing money into your business, you need to keep all your receipts. The end of the year this can all be deducted. However, you may want to find a good CPA to do your taxes! Good luck with your success!
I don't know if WA does. I doubt they do since they're based out of Canada. Other affiliate programs such as Amazon Associates, will usually only report earnings to the IRS once you receive $600 or more in commission during a tax year. They'll also send you a 1099.
Chances are if the affiliate program didn't ask you to fill out a w-9 when you joined, then they are not going to report your earnings to the IRS.
With that being said, I recommend that you report any income to the IRS regardless if the program reports your earnings to the IRS. Ultimately, it's up to you whether you do or not.
Thanks ThomasPaul - that sets me straight from the git-go. I'll start keeping income records the minute I get an income - LOL!
Also, do what nathaniell suggest which is keeping track of your receipts and statements for your expenses. If the IRS is going to tax you on your income, then you should also take the deduction for your expenses.
For the US, you can file taxes as sole proprietorship, and your business name is just your name. Just keep records of what you pay for and what you make. When working online, most of the time you'll have digital copies of everything, ie emails, paypal statements, and bank statements can all serve as 'receipts'.
You have to keep record yourself, and tell the IRS yourself what you have earned (at least, that's how it works in the Netherlands:)
