Here I am again... with a website not producing any more referrals... LOL!
Well, not necessarily a highly productive month for me... May ended with some progress. But mostly maintenance and school work with my daughter to finish out the school year. She was in the last 4 weeks of school. Well, sort of... there is officially one more week, but it is filled with optional class work for digital learning and that's it.
It's all bittersweet that the school year has come to an end, but not in the usual way. So, here we are at the beginning of another summer off from school and it seems almost like school ended already. Anyway, Robin is looking forward to no more school work. To enjoy her time at home the best way she can. Enough about that, that's a blog of another nature...

So, What Did I Actually Accomplish?
Not much really... I started out with a blog post on my MMO website and didn't get it finished until Sunday (the 31st). Sad, really. But, I am okay with it though... I was helping my wife brainstorm ideas for a niche site she is considering... I'll get into this later... but it kept me from finishing my blog. Oh, I was showing her around the WA platform by clicking stuff and showing her how to get around.
I am considering letting her join me on my profile here. I won't be able to change my WA nickname, as I have already used the one and only opportunity to change it in my 2nd month here.
So, here is a rundown of what I have done this month:
I decided that I needed another tab on my site. I added a "How-To" tab to my drop down menu. Then moved three blogs to it from the "Blog" tab on my menu.
I did a little more research into my email marketing strategy. After a few suggestions from members here, I decided against using MailChimp for my MMO site. I will use it for my web design website instead. I went with a different option than MailChimp. Mailrelay is the one I chose for my MMO site. I would love to use Aweber, but am trying to keep costs down to a minimum for the time being.

After reading a post here about Orphan posts, I checked to see if I had any, and sure enough found some. So, I started revising some of my posts on my MMO site to try to eliminate them. I added a little bit of relevant content to link back to them from my WA review post and a couple others.
That took me about a week to do. I then attempted to complete a little more of Affiliate Bootcamp to get further along. I got through the social media section up to the video. I am stuck at that point.
I also spent some time working on my Pinterest account this month. I added some boards and about 7 to 8 pins in them. I have been following more there and also received more followers. I will see how much engagement I get from it next month and if it worthy to report... I will.

What's Killing Me?
I cannot stand myself on video and am having difficulty with this part of it. The requirement in the training is to do a WA review as a practice.
Like I said, I am having extreme difficulty with this and every time I start, I get flustered and play it back to see how I sound... and it's awful. I hate my voice and I am boring to listen to. YouTube is not going to be fun for me when I try to do this part of my business. I do know it is a necessary evil for me.
I have to do it to try to build more traffic to my website. I need all of your prayers for me to get through this part. It is going be a difficult task to accomplish.
I want to finish the Affiliate Bootcamp by the end of summer. My main reason is to get my website being more productive for traffic. I thought I would have more done by now. I truly was hoping that May would be a better month for me.
Oh well, I'll drive to make June and the rest of the year a killer year for me. Wish me well for a better "rest of the year".
Now The Good News...
My wife has been playing with the idea of creating a niche website of her own. She is a very creative mind and has always given some great gifts to her family and/or friends. She is thinking of trying to make this work for her on a website. She is still playing with the idea and hasn't actually committed to it yet.
I have mentioned that we can share the WA profile for her to accomplish the OEC, but she hasn't started yet. I will keep all of you posted when she actually decides to join me here. It may not happen for another month. But, we will see.
Well, that's it for now... I am looking forward to seeing all of you to be a success here and it does not take away from my happiness or make me feel bad as a result. I will be a success and since my site is slow moving it will just take me longer. It's just that simple. π
Don't forget to mash that "Like This" button and comment is you would like to share your successes. Or if you wish to share where you have been successful with your email campaign, I would love to hear it.
I wish you all the best!
Bob
