June 2020 Progress and thoughts.

Well, this will be real short as I did not have as much progress as I had thought I would last month.
First Things First...
I didn't get any blog posts done. I had a few issues this month. It appears that I messed up my images a little in the process of trying to increase site speed. I still have to figure out what I did. I do know that by reloading a couple of them has fixed a few of the issues.
Google Search Console was telling me about my errors and that it could not find the URL. Of course it was the image URL that it was looking for. By doing the image corrections that were outlined in Kaju's training I ended messing them up. No problem, I know what I did, so it was a matter of back tracking as the notes I took were effective in fixing my flub.
The documentation of it all is what helped me fix it. So, that's the short story of my progress. Yeah, not proud of it, but hey... I learned a lot in the process and that IS progress. 😀👍
Second Thing...
I had a scam that occurred and you can read about it here:

Some of you responded with your experiences from scams and I appreciate that you did. Others can learn from it.
Third Happening...
I have a guy I worked with that was fired about a year ago and he works with one of our local electricians. Well, he knows that I have a web design business now. It isn't much, just simple websites for new start up business and I plan to help them out by keeping the costs low for them.
We aren't charged for hosting fees since the hosting is part of our Premium membership here and that is one awesome deal. Kyle has mentioned it before and I am sure plenty of you have seen it. The main reason I bring it up, is that it helps me to keep their costs low. I only ask that they allow me to place a WA banner on their site.
I figure it's a fair trade off. But, anyway the electrician is asking for a new website and wants me to build it out for him. One more thing about the training here... if you can build your own website, then you can build one for others. It is another form of income we can use besides affiliate marketing.
So, before you think you haven't learned anything and aren't bringing in any income from your website with affiliate commissions... think again. You have all you need to make an income from the other skills you learn here.
SEO specialists are some jobs out there as well. Stop and think about everything you do with your own website... that's a skill set you can earn an income from. Put it to use and use it to your advantage until your website starts to produce the income from affiliate commissions that you are hoping for. It'll help pay for your membership here.
Do you have any other ideas you can earn an income while waiting for your website to produce the income you are waiting for? Just never give up on yourself... no matter what.
I wish you all the best!
Bob
Alternative income streams that are associated with our core business are always of benefit.
I have a few lined up but as yet I haven't managed to set any of them up, it all takes time and time seems to be in short supply these days.
Great news about the website job for the electrician. I am sure you will do an amazing job. I have heard that freelancers can make some decent money. Right now I am too busy to do that, but I am strongly considering it.

Karin 😎
