Have you ever attended a business meeting where the main speaker of the night, kick starts the nights discourse by holding up a $100 bill, and asks the audience, "who will give me a $20 bill in exchange for this $100 bill?

Well, that's what happen on this particular night at a Property Marketing seminar I went along to.

When it happened, I was shocked at first and so to were the majority in the audience, because just a few hands shot up, while the rest of us probably though he was just conning us.

Then, the speaker, posed the offer once again, this time nearly half of the people in the room thrust their hands up into the air, including your's truly. And while this gentlemen continued speaking and holding up his tantilising offer, suddenly, one, then two, then a few more people shot out of their seats and made a bee line for the guy on the stage.

But incredibly the rest of us stayed motionless in our seats! while the quickest among us stepped up and excepted the challenge, then she walked back to her seat beaming with delight, because she had just made an $80 profit on a $20 investment!

The valuable lesson I learned that night was this, "Opportunity knocks on our door, each and every day, but only if we reconize it, and step through it, that we can make a difference in our lives and move in a direction that we want to move into."
