Guess, when Kyle sent me his first email as an introduction to Wealthy Affiliate?
I cannot believe - it was 2013!
O, boy. And only now I am finishing my “full” second month with WA!
You are probably thinking: that is one lazy lady!
Well, I guess so, but, as my mom always said—everybody is marching to their own drama. And “my drama” was internet marketing “PARALYSIS BY ANALYSIS!”
Sounds familiar?
With Wealthy Affiliate today within just a few weeks I’ve accomplished what I always wanted for years with all other platforms combined.

1. Before WA - My Blogging Journey
Imagine: your friend went through significant changes in life and decided to work from home.
Aha! Internet marketing is the way to go.
A person started scouting the net but didn’t know any better and didn’t know what to measure up the research to. It’s like “You don’t know what you don’t know.”
Well, you can imagine a person’s inbox:
- Just Do It – No Risk, No Money Up-Front. Guaranteed Results!
- Few Thousand Dollars My First Month!
- Internet Guru – I Will Show You a Way!
- It’s Not a Dream – Close Your Eyes, and It’s Yours
- Want Guaranteed Income?
It was MY INBOX!
I cannot even read those headline without laughing! I should have been more “opinionated” and more “critical!”
I was a good student. I always was, no matter what I did in life. It is just the way I am.
I followed all “training,” I took ALL THE NOTES, and I was OVERWHELEMED!
They told me to buy this course and that course, and I spent and spent and spent. I was doing a good thing – I was investing in my “education,” or so I thought. Right?
Maybe.
They continuously put on a pedestal the “best” and the highest $$$ earners. And I always felt like a cockroach.
Support? Are you kidding? My “upline” was the owner of the company and was never available. That was the worst because to get a question answered – good luck! The only people who had access to the “body” were money makers. Not me.
How about his assistants or somebody who might help? It was pretty much DIY – Do It Yourself.
Or, you could “submit a ticket” and within few days somebody will send you an email. And like this – back and forth and back and forth.
It was hard enough already to learn all this mambo-jumbo of blogging and internet marketing. But when you must jump through the hoops to get one thing to accomplish – guess what? Sooner or later, you will be severely exhausted, frustrated, and not a happy camper!
That was precisely how I felt after doing everything “right” and following all the “teaching.” Never mind my checking account—it lost quite a few pounds.
They told me not to worry about anything. Just buy another course and write the content.
Really?...
2. You Get What You Pay For. Wrong!
We all know that in life, you get what you pay for. Right?
This conventional wisdom works most of the time giving us some assurance of quality. But what some of you experienced in the world of blogging, is proving it wrong!
How?
Before joining Wealthy Affiliate, I paid mad money for my blogging “education.” Result? Look at my notes! They are really mine!
Impressive, isn’t it? I can package them and sell on the E-Bay—some of the return on my investment!
Fast forward – present days. I wanted badly to give myself another chance. I opened my 2013 inbox and here he was—Kyle. And he asked for nothing.
Now I was smarter, more “educated”—for goodness sake, I read all my notes(!)—and of course, I could quickly put two together.
So, I pulled the plug.
Immediately I was taught by Kyle—the owner(!)—through a series of videos what to do step-by-step.
NO BS, NO KUMBAYA. JUST HOW TO.
Being a good student, I followed all the instructions and completed all tasks. For everything, it was a checklist! What a breeze!
What it cost me? $359—the cost of Premium annual membership! Not a penny more!
Well, sometimes the conventional wisdom is wrong, and you don’t get what you pay for. You get much more. And this is Wealthy Affiliate!
3. Wealthy Affiliate – What You Should Expect
Want proof?
Well, let’s see what I have accomplished within just a few weeks starting from scratch:
- Choosing a niche
- Reseaching a niche
- Establishing the BRAND
- Understanding content creation
- 16 posts April 7th – May 19th, 2019
- 20,392 words April 7th – May 19th, 2019
- 1,274 words average per post
- Setting site content goals
- Learning how to write a Review
- Learning keywords and keywords research
- Picking a theme suitable for my brand
- Working with images
- Having a fully functioning website
- Understanding Word Press, navigation, menu, widgets
- Putting it all to work
And all this – in a very intelligent, logical and not overwhelming sequence!
In all honesty, I didn’t expect this result when I came on board. It’s like “Before and After.”
Wow! I am impressed. And this is just a beginning!

What have you done for the last month? I hope it was and is with Wealthy Affiliate!
I don’t know how about “wealthy,” but my wallet feels pretty good that Kyle didn’t ask me to “Go all in!” and pay thousands of dollars for this course and another course and so on.
For all the money I have ever spent on my so-called “education” and “self-improvement,” – I could have put a down payment for a condo in Manhattan!

O, you want to be part of a weekly training? It will cost you!
But NOT with Wealthy Affiliate! It is really for NO EXTRA COST! And Jay—our trainer—is FANTASTIC. He is funny, original, have superb personality and extremely knowledgeable.
4. WA – What You Will Not Get
But that’s not all.
I have another few critical observations.
No Rah-Rah Training
For anyone who ever been in either MLM business or some type of internet-based companies, what do you think first coming on board? When will these people will be dragging my “a…” to a live training somewhere in Atlanta Dorm or Denver Convention Center?
I am writing this, and I am laughing remembering my “old” days!
You are probably touching your wallet right now.
Well, even though Wealthy Affiliate is not MLM company, I want to put you at ease—no such rah-rah training at WA!
No Upsell
Another thing what impressed me—NO UPSELL.
How come? Everyone I deal with before upsold me constantly. It’s like no break. No wonder I had paralysis by analysis!

The Golden Ticket – What Makes You Tick?
Well, whatever stage in the internet marketing you are now, - how are you doing so far?
Are you a beginner like me or cracking this blogging thing left, and right already?
Regardless, taking this “baby” off the ground is a task of enormous challenge, as well as discipline, focus and dedication. But it is also a task of getting quility help and being guided by the people who want you to succeed. And Kyle is that man.
Somehow, I feel that he is monitoring me, and for sure, I assume he knows everything I am doing. And I love it!
Yes, it is a long road to success, and there are tons to learn and to do. But the idea that you are up and running within a few weeks and a big burdensome hurdle are behind you—that’s worth a lot! But it is also a lot of FUN!
Wealthy Affiliates and Kyle helped me to accomplish more in six weeks than I did with all “other” platforms combined! And for this, I want to say my tremendous “THANK YOU” to Kyle personally and everyone else—WA ambassadors and other affiliates—for their efforts and help.
The first month out—mission accomplished! Thanks, guys. I am very grateful.
But!
It is still YOU who is pulling a plug and get things done. Not Kyle and not Wealthy Affiliate.
And this is where “what makes you tick” comes in.
For me, it is $50,000 surgery what insurance doesn’t cover. It is a dream not to have a boss, even though I have a great one. It is a dream not to commute five hours a day to work every day. And even though I am good at what I do, - it is a dream to be better!
And for this, the Wealthy Affiliate is my golden chance. And I am taking it and will be riding this Seabiscuit to the Triple-Crown. And if I fall, I will get up, dust off and continue running.
The race is on. For all of us.
