How Do I change my Password in Wordpress Express?

I always believe 'Prevention is better than Cure' and in order to protect your online Real - Estate from hackers and Internet thieves , It's best to make it that more challenging for these dirt bags.
Although Wealthy Affiliate has added security , lets make it one step even securer.

Step 1 : Login to you Wordpress Express website.
Most of us will have a default user name of 'admin' and then your password is defaulted as your original member login. Type in your details.
Step 2 : You are now on your Dashboard Page
Go to the far top right corner of the page and hover your mouse over 'Howdy, admin' (refering to your user name) and then select 'Edit My Profile'.
Step3 : On your profile page, scroll down to the bottom left and you will see 'New Password'.
In the first block (in line with the word New Password) type in your new password.
Then in the second block do the same typing in the identical new password.
Make sure your password is strong by using symbols like (!"£$%^+).
Don't forget forget to keep a record of your password, somewhere safe.
Step4 : Now select 'Update Profile' at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

For added security you can install a Plugin called 'Login Lock' which locks your access for 60min if the password entered fails after x amount of attempts. For more info have a look at this link - https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/david-s/blog/protecting-your-wordpress-site-from-hacker

I have WP versio 4.3.1 and it's not there either. If you create a new user then you will get a new password. I don't think you can change it to something you like because of security.

How do you change your wordpress password? I cannot find it in the lower left corner as this post suggests.

!st go to Manager; 2nd click on Log in Now; 3rd you will see User, Role, Password for each administrator of the account; 4th click on the green synchronize button of the administrator or of your name and it will change your password. I hope that this will be helpful. Jeff

Thanks for this post Colin. It's much easier than how I used to do it:)

Thanks @RICH - Was not aware that you could do this

Great advice, Colin. It's also worth changing the User Name from the standard Admin. Dean (@Apina) has instructions on his website here: http://www.apinapress.com/dont-be-an-admin-part-two/
