Over 1 million page-views on my first website over 1 year.
4 and a half years ago I made this www.breadandbutterfootball.com
This was my foundation and my baby. Still is. In-fact I don't do much with it now, I have employed 2 editors to do the work as myself and the co-founder have other things in life to sort, his a baby and mine to make money online.
My first website has given me good guidance in website building, how to build a social media following and look after members. It also makes profit every single month via Sponsored posts (approx $400 a month)
But what it has ultimately done is wet my appetite for more. I want to leave my current full-time job as a Royal Air Force Police Officer to live my own dream. Work on the internet, be paid on the internet and continue to run and manage my passion. How hard can it be?
This 'niche' building is tough at the start, but I know I wont be as overwhelmed as some people. The hardest part for me is actually getting the keywords to search for at a low competition. Which is what I need to pay more attention too when it comes to my online business at www.mypassiveincomediary.com a project I am very excited about. Hopefully it brings half the success which my first website did.
