First Month at Wealthy Affiliate...but why

They say time flies when you are having fun. But they also say that if you have your head down and are busy you seem to lose track of time.

My first month was both.

I've just completed my first month here at Wealthy Affiliate and feel somewhat accomplished. I know the more time you dedicate to your work, the better the outcome. Notice I said dedicate, not just working to work. This is a huge difference.

To dedicate is to decide that you will do something towards a specified goal.

Working, however can be considered the same but more than likely it is simply going through the motions with no dedication or specific goal other than to get a paycheck. I did not say earn a paycheck.

If there is passion and determination to accomplish your why, you may have a low point, but you will always come back to the why. The exception to this rule is if your why is not strong enough to keep you heading in the right direction.

For example, if I say I want to get healthy so I look good, it is a why but not worthy of driving me to a specific goal. However, if I want to get healthy to ensure I will spend many years with my children and want to walk my daughter down the aisle for her wedding, now we have a specific goal and a meaningful why.

Dean Graziosi stated in his Millionaire Success Habits that we should ask ourselves why six to seven layers deep. Give your why, then ask why you gave that answer. Then continue until you get the deep emotional connection to your why.

So I ask you, why did you join Wealthy Affiliate? Why does that matter? And why, why, why?

Is your why big enough to continue down a successful path or is it "just fun to do"? That may be the case but why is it fun to do?
