This is a review of Magistudio's 221125 Friday Afternoon Webinar. I'm always amazed that only a few hundred members attend such important training. Perhaps this review will help alert members to watch these important presentations.
Hiring Writers for Growth Using Sweat Equity
IMO, Jay is one of the best trainers I've ever worked with. He introduces himself in the first five minutes and then gets down to business. I've never failed to get valuable information from one of his training presentations.
In this presentation Jay went over where to look for expert writers. He ended by saying he prefers to work with WA members. Of course, Jay talked about finding writers on Fiverr and other traditional sources for freelancers looking for gigs.

1. A writer will need to be developed and will never write like I you.
2. You need to work with and train your writer.
3. Tell your writer exactly what you want.
4. Set deadlines
5. You will get what you pay for.
What to look for in a freelancer
1. Must be trainable
2. Must meet deadlines
3. Must be fluent in written English
4. Writers must have a portfolio of articles
Conclusion
Jay emphasized the importance of creating relationships with other WA members. He mentioned that commenting on other members websites is a good way to start.
I’ve been trying to establish two-way communications with WA member for years, but I’ve made numerous mistakes. Most of them can be summed up in one word,”Consistency.”
Like friendships everywhere, If you don’t stay in touch, if you don’t do things together, friendships just fade away. More on making and keeping friends in another post. For now, I think if you don’t touch bases with a WA members at least once a month you are starting over. When you recruit a member you need to stay in touch at least weekly.
We will be discussing how to make friends here at WA. But for now I just want to say, “If you are not watching Jay’s Friday afternoon presentations you are missing some of the best IT training you will find anywhere.

It looks like you have solved the problem of interacting effectively with
WA members. I'm going to try doing what you do. A daily post chronicling my life. With 16K followers and a rank of 4, you have to be doing something right.
I was recently diagnosed as being type 2 diabetic Had a staff infection in my toe for months before I went to a doctor. They have it under control and it is finally healing. I've had crippling neuropathy for at least 10 years. Was the neuropathy the result of diabetes? Probably... So I have no idea how long I've been diabetic.
You are my model going forward.

I can't always catch Jay live, but When I can't catch him live, I always watch his recordings. Doing a review helps me remember the key points.
I've always been a note-taker. In the last couple of years, I've learned about
Zettlekasten and my note-taking has developed into my PKM (Personal Knowledge management.) That is a subject for my website and not here in WA.
