I Like some of these rankings, but traffic.
I searched for one of my niche blog posts, and I found it on Google's third page, eighth result.
That's really friggin' good for the outdoors niche, because outdoors lovers like me tend to not click on the first several websites that we find (many of which, that I found are owned by the same few people who are promoting the same products on each). Since many of these websites tend to be copycats like that, searching for something that isn't an annoying parrot is actually commonplace.
Now for the frustrational (no, frustrational isn't a word) part; traffic is so slow. Honestly, it's like hanging out in a crowd, and everyone finds someone else to talk to. I know what that's like first-hand, so I wonder if I'm coming off as too unique in some cases, or if I just need to lay it on thicker and wait.
Another thought is this: I can't get better ranked for repeating the keywords in the same pages and posts, right? That doesn't seem like it makes any sense to do things that way.

You need to start hitting the 1st page of Google if you want to get traffic, it is a good sign that your website is starting to creep up the search results and as you gain more authority, you will start moving from the 3rd page...to the 2nd page, then up to the first page.
