Persistence
After 8000 unsuccessful trials on a nickel-iron storage battery, Thomas Edison said: "Well, at least we know 8000 things that won't work".
There are numerous examples of great men in variety of fields throughout history that applied this essential law of success in their lives. Now - that is not the only thing that led them to success, but it is the one thing without which their triumphs would not be possible. If you search through their biographies, you will find that they all faced temporary defeat along the road, and I mean ALL of them, without exception. The powerful fact is - they did not even entertain the possibility of quitting! Dear friend, I have news for you! I know for a fact that You and I and all the famous and wealthy people throughout history have been given exactly the same gift at birth. YOU have an amazing, massive untapped potential buried inside YOU. Think about that as you wake up, affirm this truth all day long and finally - as you close your eyes to go to sleep, let your mind dwell on it. Before you know, your higher self will find the way to bring forth all the riches that lie within you.

“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not, nothing is more common than people with talent.

The slogan “press on” has solved and always will solve the problem of the human race.

You won't see me preaching anything other than persistence. It is by far the key to success as most people quit just prior to achieving their breakthrough moment.
I always say I've never seen someone fail that didn't quit and that holds true to this day.
