Creation and Passion
Hey WA community! I would like to mention and give an update of where I am at currently and what I have been learning so far. It has been an interesting journey to say the least, from being conditioned to believing that we have to turn up to work for a company or be somewhere at a certain time to do a job to discovering this different way of life where we get to call the shots and work at our own pace not dictated by anyone but ourselves!
So my site is slowly coming together and I have had some content indexed by Google which for me feels pretty amazing!
Main things I have learned so far and would be good advice for someone just starting out-
Follow the training and go back if you need to as many times as required.
Don't be afraid to ask for help, you will find it here, there is so many kind people here that love helping people.
Go back through your content to fix up something you may have missed.
Ask for feedback and accept whatever advice you receive whether its positive feedback or positive criticism, it all helps.
Take your time with it, do not rush this is a business you are building.
Always work on something because there is always something to work on.
There is one last thing that I has really helped me and that is its pretty important to have a niche that I am passionate about which has helped make things so much easier to build my site and content.
Anyway that's all I have so far but I am building even if its not at a breakneck pace. I will get there because I am really enjoying the process of creating something I can call my own.

Very sound advice Bevan . I tell everyone that if you're not passionate about your Niche you are going to have issues writing enough content. Jim

Thats the key point Bevan... we are building something that we love, in a niche that is exciting to us. I was a freelancer in my niche before, and I was getting exasperated at times, started to not enjoy it all, but when I started at WA, blogging about my niche and helping people to do it themselves I started to learn so much more and I started to love my niche again. It gave me a new lease of life, and I can't believe how lucky I am to find a way of working that suits me, thats fun and exciting and will earn me a living, more than that it will become evergreen one day and give me the time to achieve some other dreams too! But we will only get there if we enjoy the process - because it can be a long and lonely road without community support. Thanks for the post. Great title - Creation and Passion!
thanks for sharing your story. You know what? I am not even sure if what I am doing is going to work! But there is a different element to this. I have tried to follow up on so many opportunities that came my way and I really did try to make them work but they were things I was not passionate about.
What I am doing here is something I really love doing and I'm not 100% sure but I think this might actually give me the life I have always wanted.
I once heard a very wise person say ''follow your passion" and that is what I am doing. I am doing this with no doubt or fear of failure, I am actually motivated by the uncertainty of it, if that makes sense.

If you are not sure if it'll work, but enjoy doing it anyway, thats a great place to be... why?... because you will be able to carry on regardless. We have to make a lot of content in this business, and we may have to work away for quite a while before we start making money, so if you are not following your passion, it will become hard at some point. You enjoy it >> you will succeed!

Hi Bevan- Very exciting journey so far! Congrats! It takes a lot of effort, hard work, and drive. But, any business worth building requires those things.
Keep putting out awesome content and it starts to come together.
I agree with you 100%...the community here is the difference. Lots of generous people to help along the way. We all have a unique perspective to share.... so we all need to give back..
