Anyone else had a day like this...?
Hi - hope you've had a better day than me.... Achieved every chore as a working Mum all weekend, and got the Sunday roast in the oven at 4.00 p.m. - day going well. Just about to sit down and get into WA - Yells from the paddock - horse going down with colic. Vet on a Sunday = $500 poorer. Horse trod on my sore foot (a whole one tonne of him - not sure if it is broken - will find out tomorrow) threw me into a pile of rocks (bit sore) and nearly killed the vet! After sedation - all went well for the horse but not for us - feeling sore to say the least. Finished tea, did dishes and computer wouldn't start for an hour and a half. Eventually had to do a repair on it with Windows. Tomorrow can only be an improvement, but back to work tomorrow.... another week started, again no WA work done! If you have any ideas on time management for Mums, I'd definitely appreciate them. It's okay you can laugh. I am now sort of.... just a bit in pain.

Sometimes "when it rains , it pours" Berny! But don't despair for tomorrow is another day so let's hope it brings renewed hope and fulfilled dreams. The sun will definitely shine again.

Trialynn - my week can only improve! Don't ever have a horse, they say poverty is owning a horse. I have 3. One horse was injured once and cost us $6,000 to treat. Just hoping it hasn't broken my foot too. At least my computer is up and running again.
Oh my.. some days are just like that. Am sorry you had such a bad day. Hope the horse is doing better and that you did NOT break your foot. Take a hot bath and wash the day away. Most of all, take care of yourself! you deserve some pampering :)
Sorry to hear that you are hurt, nothing worse than a horse standing on your foot, sore or not! You would not like to hear about my day yesterday, I was going to write a blog about it, but now I would feel bad if I wrote about a good fortune day after reading about another WA'ers misfortune. It is just that it involved horses and working on WA website content, lol. My wife and I are childless except for the four legged furry variety so I am not much help on time management for Mums, but I can tell you there are plenty of Mums at WA that can put me to shame on time management that should be able to help you out, so keep the old chin up, I'm sure help is on the way. I will pray for a speedy healing of you foot, Jack

I've been out all day working on the content of my website to be, and I just got done for the day, or it got done with me, I am so physically beat I don't think I have it in me to write a blog tonight. We'll see....
I have always dreamed of owning a horse - you put a heck of a damper on my dream!
Of course my horse would be perfect, never get sick and never, never hurt me (I hear that is not in the realm of possibility!) I guess it will remain a dream.

Have no advice except to move on....I've had a heap of interruptions this week but none as traumatic and painful as yours. Hopingyou have found something to dull the pain and next week is event free.
