I had 95 pages, when I tried to add 6 more pages, the previous saved menu arrangements are gone (and I had to delete some of the pages from the menu and rearrange the rest of them)
no there is no limit
The only limiting factor will be the power of your site and/or MySQL server.

I'm not sure if there's a limit but your articles are best written as posts, not pages. You can organize your posts into categories, then put the categories on the menu.

That's what I did. I have both pages and posts. In all my pages I provide background information and the posts are extended from those info (so that I don't need to provide background info in every posts)
I have done some research on this and there is no limit on the number of pages you can have.
I would contact support, they'll know the answer to this one. :)
