Hi Bennett, I will soon be 58yrs old, and in some ways that is young. But in my day all you needed was a high school education to get a good job. So after high school I got a job. I don't want to tell you the whole ooh poor me I regretted my choices, because I think spending time looking back with regret is wasting my future. I can't honestly say I would have done anything different. However, I married my high school love right out of school, we both had good jobs, knew this is what we wanted, so why wait. We have been married 37 and half years. But around age 40 we both thought maybe we should have gone away to school, just for the experience. Who knows what is right or wrong, we can't tell you. Your young, younger than our children in fact I have a grandson who probably is close to your age. What we told our kids is make your mistakes when your young, young enough to be able to go backwards and do over. We wanted them to have a post secondary education, because it helps secure a future. Today it is very hard to walk out of high school into a well paying job. You need skills that will take to more than one job, because again the day of working one job till retirement is getting less and less possible. So all I can say, you have a lot of years in front of you, find a career you love and will love for a long time. Take care of yourself and be happy because that truly is what it is all about.

Hi, Bennett.

My best advice is to learn as much about internet marketing as you can, and lucky for you, you have landed in the best place to accomplish this. Learn SEO (search engine optimization) and keyword research, and apply all of your new knowledge to create a successful website.

Master social media and how to promote your online business. These are very marketable skills not only for your website but to help others. I have been here since January, and I already have a client wanting me to assist him with his social media marketing as well as helping him achieve more authority with his site.

I see this is an excellent opportunity for myself and I have only scratched the surface of the learning opportunities within Wealthy Affiliate -- the sky truly is the limit, but you need to be patient because it takes time.

I hope this helps and I wish you the best of luck and want to congratulate you on making such a great decision to take control of your destiny!

~All the best, Gina

I started a blog on things of interest to me. I just free wrote on what I wanted to talk about and incorporated my niche. After a few posts, I started adding reviews and affiliate links and over time started making money. It is a long grind but a good grind

Work hard and smart for what you want? and make it happen!
