What does WA ranking really mean?

Do you really think that your ranking at WA is an indication of your participation in the WA community? Which by the way it does. I think a more empowering way of thinking/looking at it is your Engagement Meter in your project. Unless you are just in it for the ranking game which really doesn't make much sense to me. I know for me there is a flow and I can measure how engaged I am with my website by watching my ranking. When I am really paying attention and around the community working on it, my ranking naturally goes up. You can't help yourself. You go from here to there, asking questions, leaving comments, doing lessons and following instructions, learning along the way. Following your nose towards the information you need. Then a couple of lessons come and I get down because it never feels right being new, or don't know what I'm going to blog about, what's the right keyword,so I don't come around. Like an avoidance. and naturally my ranking gets worse. This is why I look at it like the lower my number goes the closer I am to my goal and vice versa if my number goes up I am further from goal. What do you think?
