Out with Old that's me in with the New
A lot has happened in 1 year. I started my 67th year in NYC (Greenwich Village) where I lived for most of my life except for a short stint in Princeton NJ and 2 years of my college career in Ft. Wayne IN. After growing up in The Bronx near Yankee Stadium I've spent most of my adult life living in Manhattan and all of my life working in Manhattan. I now find myself in Tyler TX. Why you ask? The reason I give first is to be closer to 3 of my grandchildren. The 2nd is to save money. In NYC my rent was more than my Social Security check in Tyler it is 1/3/ I have also taken a P/T job with a sales force that represents HP products in Best Buy and Office Depot which takes up about 18 hours a week. It's not a bad life but I still am always concerned about money. Might just be who I am. I have had a lot of training and for the most part understand how humans think, commit vs feel, and that is why I am writing this in hopes of jump-starting the creative process again.
I have been in computers since practically it's inception with the public. Mac is a specialty. I remember 1200 baud modems you had to dial up to get online. I remember AOL being created for Mac users originally. Mac is a specialty but I can work with PC's. I wrote a paper at NYU explaining how computer kiosks could handle neighborhood promotions (local merchant sales, movie times, etc.) way before the internet took off. If you take a look at my bio you will see I have mentored a lot of people, as well as, big and small businesses in technology. I've even sold bedroom sets on ebay before the 2008 RE crash.
Where am I today? Literally and figuratively. I started in April of last year with a domain name I had since 2000 and swore I would use it when I could. After a year or so I found WA, which I adore. I immediately, without thinking, started working on my website BeingGreat.com. If you want you can check it out any thoughts would be appreciated. I think it was a decent beginning. However, I was already getting worried about monetizing it and how to design it. Then I had an illness and the move in October. I am now settled in and have the time and inclination to get going again. I got a yearly plan on Black Friday. I have been stymied since then for a couple of reasons. First I don't remember a lot of what I learned last April. Second, should I start up with a more targeted website; Here are a few of the domain names I own.
- technologyforbabyboomers.com
- howtoforseniors.com
- howtoforbabyboomers.com
- babyboomereducation.com
- seniorhealthwellnesscenter.com
- senioronlinecommunity.com
- prescriptiondrugdiscountprograms.com
Should I just start from the beginning in the learning process? Start a new website from above or other? Both simultaneously? Thank God for WA and people to communicate with. I already feel better in that I wrote something/anything

if your sites are working leave them but if they are not working then dump them and concentrate on one site and do it right
Sounds a lot like me. I am old and I have lost a lot of the passion, but I still have the VISION ans massive leadership and management skills.
