A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to.
After 5-6 weeks of doing all the rookie stuff, not that I'm not still a big rookie, of frustration, thinking I'm not getting it , knowing I'm not getting it. I had a couple of hours today where I was sort of proud of myself and what I had created. I added my first affiliate links and actually placed images. After asking a couple of questions on WA I did some work with some minor code to place affiliate links where I wanted them. I felt like I also had a little more control of Wordpress. I think what also added to it, and I may be kidding myself, was that I was accepted by Hay House as an affiliate after they reviewed my site. My first where I felt like they didn't just accept everyone. Now I feel kind of emboldened.
I can't stop showing my friends because it actually looks like a website. The bottom line is that I'm a little energized.
Now don't think everything is a bowl of cherries and I'm off and running. I still have my insecurities. Some bigger than others but I believe these are the major ones. I'm nervous I'm not getting the right keywords and applying them properly. Which makes me insecure about moving up in the Google rankings in order to generate traffic. What do I do next to keep going is another question. Do I just keep posting and reviewing? How else can I enhance my site?

Just goes to show you the ups and downs. It's a week later and I'm sitting here paralyzed. Can't think of any good keywords that apply to a good blog on my site. BeingGreat.com so of course I start to think it's not the right site it's just a domain name I've had for 15 years and like and always said I would put it to good use. I have been around the self-help/self-improvement niche for 30 years. Looking for any thoughts?
