Huge MailPoet Update

A lot of people use programs like Aweber and MailChimp to send their newsletters and their promotional emails.

I chose the MailPoet plugin because it is a plugin on my WordPress site that allows me to set up a template and automatically send out emails with my most recent posts or posts on a certain topic- no babysitting required. No creating a weekly email with the most recent posts.

I've noticed that a lot of autoresponders out there have amazing email templates with multiple columns, buttons, and other features. I wanted that. Until a few days ago, MailPoet's wasn't able to produce that.

Now it can.

The interface has changed dramatically. First, I choose the type of email I want to send

MailPoet has 25. I can also choose to upload my own templates. Here's an example of one template:

By they way, they're RESPONSIVE.

Then, I can design my emails by choosing to add text, images, buttons, dividers, spacers, social buttons, add posts or automatic latest content, add a header and a footer (the header is "Display problems? Open this email in your web browser." The footer is the option to unsubscribe.

I can also change how many columns are in a section, the font, font color, font size, and I can preview it in my browser or send it to myself.

MailPoet also offers the sending service for $10 per month or $100 annually. I used to use SendGrid, but I used up all my free email sending. Sending through WA leads to emails not getting delivered- not even to the spam.

During my BOGO week this week, I found out that I had exhausted my free sends with SendGrid, where I had a 99% reputation. I switched to WA sending it out and my stats for delivered and opened email dropped dramatically.

I hope it works out because I really like MailPoet's ability to decrease the amount of time I spend keeping in touch with my readers/customers.
