Berating AI
Am I the only one who loses patience with AI and yells at it? I am trying to create new infographics, but AI is not cooperating.
This first image was done with the new ChatGPT 40. It is the worst with the misspelled words and what looks like Russian.

The second image is done with Copilot. I like the images, but I have spelling and language issues again.

Both programs did what I asked, using a pretty in-depth script. However, no matter what I tell either one, I cannot get it done in good old US English or with corrected spelling… Grrrrrrrrr! I haven’t tried getting Chat to adjust the image so it is not cut off. Do you have any suggestions for getting it spelled correctly?
I love AI, but I am starting to lose patience.

Lol, I often have arguments with it. I have to laugh because I am yelling at a program, but it can get quite frustrating.
When it comes to words, I have stepped away because AI can't spell. The more I tried to do what I wanted, the worse it got.
I have put it in Canva, added words, and made it look good. Mine was not as detailed as yours is, but I finally got a good one. You can also look at Canvas templates for infographics.
I know its frustrating, but hang in there, you will win and end up with a awsome one.
I like playing with AI, but it gets so darned frustrating some times😒Yes, I am going to try Canva.

By the way, have you ever considered marketing "Baciydo Chickeens?"
LOL. Sorry. I am not making fun of you, just the limitations of AI!
I needed some photos of people golfing for an article I was doing. First off, it made everyone golfing in the mountains! Second, you should have seen some of the places that golf club was sticking out of!
I think eventually, they will get it sorted out, but in the meantime, keep trying and have fun with it.

LOL...You might be on to the marketing aspect. And the bit with the golf clubs put some really strange pictures in my mind.
Sometimes, the AIs do really well, then other times, like today, they are a pain in the golf club 😁

A pain in the golf club! LOL
My granddaughter thought I was losing it when I started laughing out loud when I read that!

Nancy, I do not use AI to write me infographics. It will always have spelling errors. The best place to get the infographic templates is in Canva. Of course, the paid version has better options. All of my infographics are made in Canva. Canva has everything you need there. You can create AI art then upload them and place them into your Canva infographic templates. I use Canva Pro everyday. At first it was hard to learn how to use it now Its so much easier. When I want Bing MS Designer to create an AI art it does but the spelling are bad. How to fix it? Use Canva, they have a magic eraser where you can erase the misspelled words, then you use the text on the left column and type in the right spelled words then download your infographic and place it where ever you want it to be in your socials or on your website. I strongly encourage you to use Canva for infographics.
I use Canva, I just never got into it that heavily. I guess I need to check out their infographic templates and see what I can come up with. I know Canva is good for other things, but I honestly never though of using them for this.
Thanks Brenda.

I have no suggestions except to create the image and edit it in Canva or some other program and add in your words because on that rare occasion that AI gets the wording correct I often find that the image stinks!
I hope they will get this faulty programming corrected soon. I am sure there are people running around frantically trying to figure this out!@ LOL

Yes, I think I am going to experiment in Canva. I liked the layout the AIs did, but the spelling bums me out. I thought I could look at it and figure out what they were trying to say so I could rewrite it, but no such luck. I have the information I want to go with so I can plug it in. I think part of the problem is there is just too much information and it short circuited it. I have used AI for infographics before and it worked just fine. However, there was a lot less information.

I forgot that when I gave Copilot instructions, it also returned an outline. While the images were a mess, the outline looked good and is something I can work with. I will rewrite that and compare it to the information I have already written, and I might have some good text to use with Canva.
