A confused mind is a healthy mind
Hello all
I hope you are all enjoying the Easter break
I have been a member of WA for a few weeks now and I have loved every minute of it
Fortunately, I arrived here with a lot of background knowledge in WordPress and online marketing which has really helped be to stay on track.
As some of you know from my blogs, I a been on a journey to recover from alcoholism, addiction and also undertook therapy to overcome a very traumatic past in respect of both my childhood and my life in the Royal Navy
Over the years of this journey, I have experienced much fear, trepidation and confusion, trying so hard to build my life and find my self
I remember some years ago telling my therapist that I felt so confused and he said something that I will remember for the rest of my life.
He said the following;
Barry, there is only one thing to fear in this life and that is the "resigned mind" its the confused mind that is the healthy mind, your confusion means that you are exploring new avenues and overcoming the restraints of your past, your confusion is your best friend, never be afraid of confusion, for it will lead you into the light of your new life and your new self.
I know many on hear get confused and overwhelmed, but do not fear it, its the beginning of a new life and a new future, confusion is the most healthy state a mind can be in, its only when we stop being confused that we become stale and stop growing as a person
What we build build us, so don't let you confusion scare you, celebrate it and embrace it, its the beginning, not the end.

So glad to hear this. My mind seems to be in a state of confusion quite often these days. I guess it comes from all the stuff I'm learning. Hope that's it. :-)
