You can't catch a fish until you bait the hook
I've had a so so week. Too many obstacles living in such small quarters. I at least got my messages read and answered. Yahoo is still putting some of my WA messages in spam. I check tho and catch them. I really didn't need another thing to check.
I was just thinking the other day and the phrase you can't catch a fish until you bait the hook came to me. How very true. I never baited a hook when we went fishing. I guess the fish if I caught one would belong to whoever baited my hook.
That reminds me of when we went fishing in Galveston. I had the liners attached to my waist while we waded. Everyone put their fish on my waist. So should their fish belong to me now? I kept feeling a tug and pull. Come to find out we were fishing for the favorite shark dinner. I was a yummy baited hook to them. Needless to say our fishing stopped there. That was same time that shark movie was on.
My thoughts in a nutshell are get this hook baited. I will get ear phones and shut it all out. The fish I catch will indeed be mine then.

I've had quite a few weeks lately where things aren't going quite according to my plan. It seems I've been juggling too many plates. Having to check my spam folder for WA messages would have been pretty low on my list.
Good luck with catching your fish. You can do it, but it's important to decide what is a priority and what is not, then filter out the rest.
You got that right. Why do things pile up so fast. I'm always thinking I'm caught up. Guess I need to think I can't do everything lol
Isn't it necessary to answer each message? I would feel terrible if I missed one that took the time to email me
It is, but sometimes I'm not prompt because I cannot be as prompt as I like. My inbox gets a ton of WA notices about new blog posts and comments. I can only do so much and I need to focus on tasks that will help me reach my goals. I don't write them down as priorities, but I have to pick and choose. If I'm not careful, I may spend all my time focused on posting comments on blog posts in WA rather than working on my affiliate business.
I'm beginning to feel the same. I just don't want anyone to think I take it for granted. I nearly file all blogs. About 300 so far. I go through them at times to see if one fits my then problem. I also. File the questions for same reason. I find if I put every message in a folder such as likes or comments or follow when I I take time to answer my brain stays on one subject. Saves me time rather than jumping from one to an entirely different one.
You're welcome. That filing system you have may come in handy for me, too. As long as filing them doesn't distract me too much, too.
