January Goals Complete -Front Loading for Publishing Velocity

As the month comes to a close I am happy to say that I met my (slightly modified but equally challenging) goals. VibeIncome, CommonCuriosities, ExtraLargeDogBeds, and StockingStufferExtraordinaire are all well on their way to being a valuable resource within their respective niches.

A Fabulous Podcast for Anyone Looking

I have been listening to and really enjoying a podcast called "The Affiliate Marketing Millionaire" during any drive time that I am alone. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to fill that down time with something useful, it is both entertaining and informative :)

One comment that stood out to me was that you can't expect to be considered an authority with only 30 posts. This makes a lot of sense as it takes a lot of content to prove that you can make valuable contributions within a niche. Once way that was suggested to give yourself a boost is by "front-loading content" to increase your "publishing velocity", which basically means pump out a substantial number of quality posts early on and then you can slow down a bit as long as you remain consistent.

Posting Achievements

Publishing one post per day on CommonCuriosities brought it up to a total of 89 fun fact posts. While I may not have actually published every single day I did create 31 posts and date accordingly to produce by full calendar for the month of January.

VibeIncome and StockingStufferExtraordinaire tied for second number of posts added in January with 24 new posts each in their respective niche brining VI up to 44 posts and SSE to a total of 33 posts.

Last but not least to join the publishing marathon was ExtraLargeDogBeds with 12 new posts added to total 15 posts. I need to do a fair bit of presentation work here still but at least there is some content to age on Google.

AI Maximizes Publishing Velocity Possibilities

Thankfully, the help of Jaaxy's keyword research tool and some AI writers made this possible. Previously it would have been totally unrealistic to create as much new content as I was able to this month but now that I just need to do a little research, formatting, editing and on page SEO it is much more practical to publish at an accelerated rate! The vast majority of pages were produced with specific long-tail keywords in mind having done my research. A few for each website were also created based solely on what I felt would be valuable to that particular audience, the intent being that there is lots they can discover and enjoy on the site even if it may not all be something that is competitive in the search engines right off the bat.

Some sacrifices are made when time is a priority

While quality content was a priority a large focus was also to increase publishing velocity and show google that content will be produced regularly. I definitely got some editing and formatting into each post along with adding photos but the editing is not complete.

Jumping into February & Ready to hit the ground running

Moving forward into February, I intend to continue to post at a slower rate of 2 new posts per website per week but add in ChooseYourWeek and a new website PreventativeEquineCare to the agenda. In an ideal world the last two will have a month focused on publishing velocity as well in the near future.

In addition to publishing I intend to set several hours a week aside to go through and improve the content published during the January Blitz. Many of those posts have not yet been run through Chat GPT3.5 to see what aspects of them can be improved and optimized and I intend for everything to be passing googles EEAT recommendations with flying colours by summer.

I also have a few other websites including TenThousandTools and EquestrianHacks that I have a few articles ready to post. These won't be a publishing priority at the moment but I will get what I have up so that it can start to age and gain some authority.

Results to Date

I haven't seen a large increase in impressions or traffic yet but am optimistic that the large influx of content will pay off as I continue to work through the new training and post at a rate of only two new posts per website per week going forward.

As far as revenue sources go affiliate links beyond WA and Jaaxy will be added to most sites throughout February now that they are a little more robust to start applications. CommonCuriosities is such a broad topic that I think I will likely go the ad revenue route for that website and am focused on getting some traffic up first.

Feel free to drop your January accomplishments and February goals below as well, I would love to hear about them!
