I've just changed the theme of my site and want to fill a few spaces with the pictures available to us when creating blogs. is there an easy way to do this?

Hi Jason, It looks like you have been answered.
I hope you have it sorted.

Wilson

I see you had great answers hope you came right!

You can’t directly access the Stock Images from WordPress, but as mentioned by MinaKim, you could visit the sites directly, one by one, find suitable images, download them to your computer, then upload to WordPress.

Or

You can still use SiteContent, search all the images in one place, add multiple images that you require to a single blank post, then publish to WordPress.

Once published, go in to WordPress Admin and delete the dummy post, the images will still be in your Media Gallery.

Go to the posts where you want to add these images and you’ll find them in your Media Gallery.

Hope that helps and saves you time :-)

Oh! Didn't think of that! I'll try that too =)
Thanks!

Thanks Mina
Have a great day

No problem.
Glad to help 😊

Hi there- If you create your post through WA site content, you may be able to access the free images easily.
But through WordPress you may want to go to the following sites and download the images that you need :

http://www.lifeofpix.com/
http://www.pexels.com
https://pixabay.com/

Hope this helps.

Interesting question, interesting answers.
Thanks for asking, Jason.

Wilson

You need to get a plugin called headers and footers and insert, you can also claim other social sites at the same time.

Thanks Dave

Copy the html tag and open a site support ticket and they will help you get it in your root directory.

Thanks Stanley

Following this as I need to know as well!

I think i means to paste it into the main title block as I cant find anything relating to "head section" but I'm going to wait as I don't want to muck it up !

I have the feeling it would be a no ,but want someone to tell me there is a way around it ? I wanted to use my ipad to photograph and post recipies out of old magazines.

Hi Jason, your feeling is right. I am pretty sure there would be a copyright issue. It would be similar to doing a copy and paste.

Best wishes,
Michael

Dohh !! Think I just needed to hear it !

You can't copyright recipes so you can use the recipes but I wouldn't scan them

Thanks Catherine.. back to the drawing board :)

I think you have got the answer already to my knowledge I can say that you don't need to. All the best.

Interesting question Jason.
I am pleased you asked it and am interested in what answers you get.
I suspect it might have to do with copyright law if you copy it word for word to be unacceptable.

Wilson

No. That would be plagiarism and violate their copyright to the material. You can quote small parts of the article with credit to the author and the magazine but wholesale copying is illegal.

You can with Recipes write them over with a few word changes and name the source and end up getting some added authority from using those resources.

Hi Jason, I have a social share plugin, perhaps not the right one. It does not have an instagram share button. Just reading Edwin's answer has shed some light. Thank you for asking the question. I have be sharing the hard way.

If anyone knows of a plugin that does have a share to instagram, would appreciate knowing what it is. Thank you.

Best wishes,
Michael

Thanks Michael

Social sharing buttons (plugin) will do the job. You won't need to add every social accounts you have.

Have a good one!
