Changing Themes
I am really not liking my theme so much...is it a bad idea to change it once you're getting ranked?

Barb I am glad you brought up a question on the subject of "Changing Themes" ... I have the same issue and I am new to WA. I only have a little content on my site. My question is, "If you change themes, will you lose your content? Or how do you change themes without losing your content?
you won't lose any content at all! Go to Appearance, then Themes. Click on "live preview" for any theme you'd like to try. If you decide to keep it, click on Save & Publish. :) It's fun to play around with the different themes.
No probs but don't change a theme too often because one theme might not have a function that the one you're using has.
Best to save a copy of your theme on your desktop just in case things don't work out 100%.
Do you know how to do an Export?

Hello Barbara. It wont make any difference what theme you use.
But
With some themes you sometimes have a wee bit of editing to do but no great problems.
Go ahead if you don't like the theme you're using.

Well Barb, I guess this begs a question that plays to the core of the training here at WA.
If, in fact, keywords within content are what drives rankings and creates sustained traffic, as long as you, or any given site owner(s) find the theme you switch to, as much or more visually appealing than your previous one, would the 'theme' really have a significant enough impact to make a difference?
