One month down...
So it's been a month. I ask myself how do I feel with my level of progress to date, in a word, Great! I know more and am doing more now than I did when I started. That's a success in anyone's book I hope. I continue to add content to the site, I continue to study the courses and content on WA and continue to tweak my site. First impressions are lasting impressions and I think it is paramount to have the right visual appeal before anything else. Who is going to read the content if it doesn't look right?
I know none of us judge a book by it's cover, we at least read the front of the jacket, the back of the jacket and maybe even a few pages. But what attracts us to pick up that particular book in the first place? I think there definitely needs to be some balance to appeal and content, too much of one and not enough of the other and I think it will be hard to overcome the initial reaction and response.
That's what I love about WA, a community that is involved, that provides feedback and gives comments and guidance. Just keep plugging away, don't take what you see and read here personally, it's all there to help move you in the right direction. Direction is more important than results, I say that pretty often I now realize and it is starting to make sense.
It makes sense now for a couple reasons, I can't control what someone will do when they get to my site but I can continue to strive and make the efforts required to drive more people to my site. Worry about the tangibles in your life, not the intangibles. The Serenity prayer just popped into my mind ;)
Anyhow, thanks for taking the time to read this, hope it gave some support and encouragement. If you need a boost, just let me know.

Thank you for the kinds word and the encouragement. I have been enjoying the writing very much, wish I would have made the decision to do this type of work years ago.
